I haven’t been able to sleep recently. Right now I’m emotionally, physically, and mentally exhausted. I think I’ve had at most 2-3 hours of sleep since Saturday. The exhaustion is so bad that I started to cry at work today more than once. But, that’s for a good reason. I also made some really dumb mistakes and then had to backtrack to find where then fix them. It never fails when you want to get out of work early, everything goes wrong.
I find I only have trouble sleeping in really stressful times.
Have a good time. 🙂
I’ve been missing as well, for good reason. I just can’t seem to stay away. I did miss you, just like I missed quite a few people here. 🙂
I’m so sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed seeing the wonderful holiday themed pictures with him in them. I can’t offer much, just a shoulder to cry on. 😥 Sending hugs and Kleenex.
Now I’ll go and cry….
Now my eyes hurt. (Whine) I found Waldo and 7 of his watchers….
Happy Belated Birthday! 😀 I hope you had a great day!
I think you guys are being cruel. Maybe when Thunderwing picked up the curlie maybe she/he really wanted it. But, decided oh, I really, really want a purring cat. Which I know this person does. If I do decide to part with my cat I’ll probably offer it to Thunderwing first. Sometimes I buy something and then have a bout of buyers remorse. Doesn’t make me a bad person, does it? But, if I decided to sell that item, instead of deciding to call Windstone and cancel the order, making more work for whoever is in the office. I guess that would make me a bad person.
I honestly don’t see anything wrong with what Thunderwing is doing.

😥 No money…. I can’t buy any tickets. Good luck to everyone that does. 😀
Happy Birthday! 😀 😀
Happy Birthday! 😀
Great news! 😀 I hope you do get the apartment. I’m crossing my fingers for you. 😀
I missed the curlie, I have a purring cat. But, I will not trade. I guess I’ll just wait for the next batch. Good luck. :]
Sorry, I forgot about the purring cat and the scratching dog. I think I did answer somewhere else. Where, I can’t remember. I have a bad memory. I did get them, turns out that they did find them after I left but, lost my phone number. I was just so crazy busy I didn’t get back to the post office until Christmas Eve. So, that was my Christmas gift to myself.
I don’t know why they didn’t send her to Toronto. I think here in KW they look at London and St. Thomas first. I’ve heard that St. Thomas is better than London, I’ve never heard of the one in Toronto. It would be worth a look.
Thank you for mentioning the ankle. It’s getting better (I hope) The pain is worse the last few days and now even my toes are swelling up. If it’s not better by tomorrow I’ll be seeing the doctor again. Maybe the damage was worse than they thought.
My poor dad though. Carries in London in the hospital (they think she’ll be there for at least a year) Mom came down with congestive heart failure and is in St. Mary’s hospital, then I go and sprain my ankle and have to stay with him for well 4 days. Wednesday, I couldn’t get up my stairs at my apartment, Thursday I didn’t try. Friday I got up them just fine. But, since dad was driving me to work Saturday and Sunday I stayed with him on the weekend as well. I need to call the city insurance adjusters to talk about starting a claim for the medical expenses…..
My next task is finding a more accessible apartment. If I’m going to hurt myself once a year (hopefully not again) I really need someplace that doesn’t have stairs or has an elevator. Right now I’m on the third floor (top floor) and there’s three flights of stairs leading up to my apartment. Plus the steep step to get into the building. It’s rather difficult if you can’t put your foot down.
Update….
On my birthday or March 1st. Carrie was upset, you could just see it. She was roaming around the house huffing. Well, before Gloria (oldest sister) and I left Carrie blew up at Gloria. Screaming at her to get out. So, as we were leaving we told mom to go sit down in the living room and just stay away from Carrie. Dad was driving us home, I got home fed the cats then called mom. Well, she sounded breathless. After we left Carrie went on a rampage. She went storming through the house and ran downstairs where her rabbit is being kept. She was cursing and screaming. Mom called down asking her to calm down and asking her what’s wrong. Well, Carrie came running up the stairs and pushed mom down. Then stormed back into the computer room just screaming and yelling all the way.
Mom, somehow got up and called the cops. (I heard that she had a big bruise covering her butt and legs. Carrie pushed her really hard.) As soon as the cops came of course little miss actress calms right down and starts acting like a little deer. That’s when Dad got home. The cops escorted Carrie and Dad to the hospital. This time they didn’t release her. (Thank goodness)
Actually, she thought that everyone was fake and that we were trying to steal her house and stuff. So in her mind she didn’t push her mom, she pushed a thief. I’m just glad she didn’t have a knife or some kind of weapon.
She’s now been transferred to London where they are better equipped to deal with her. She’s either been misdiagnosed the last time or somehow over the years her diagnoses has changed. She’s not bi-polar she’s schizophrenic. She’s basically been on a natural high the last few years, they are worried about when she finally comes down from her high.
They luckily will be putting her on disability, and she’s finally getting the help she needs. Problem is she isn’t talking to the doctor. Hopefully she’ll start talking soon.
