I thought I saw you had him circled in the group photo. I didn’t have a #1 fav but there were a few I was hoping for. I was thrilled to have received him and have decided to stay out of the trades this time around but later, should I decide to let him go, you’ll be the first I’ll contact. Thanks 😉

He has light blue eyes and a purple gem. I think he is in the center of the group photo though I could be wrong.

Here’s one that belongs to a friend. She has allowed me to take some outdoor pictures of her in the diorama I made for the calender pics I did 😀 She is very cool. Lots of different colors that are really iridescent. Plenty of magic paint. Green eyes and a blue crystal. She is also posted in the trade thread. My friend has her heart set on a teal baby or one similar. These Unicorns have been so amazing! Thanks again Melody for doing such a wonderful job and offering these little guys to us!!! Just beautiful!!!
Megan, I know we were talking on facebook earlier but again, so happy you like him and thank you for posting all the photos, they’re so cute! I can’t help notice in one of the photos I can see a horse bum, is that the portrait model you’re working on?
I’m going back home on sunday but will come back to my apartment next week to check the mail and do a few other things. Hopefully I will have my ornament then and will post photos! 😀 Customs is probably super slow right now with all the christmas mail. 😛

Scenceable…yes, yes…totally adore him! I’ve named him too! Since he was just going by Spanish walk, and he is my second amazing sculpture from you, I thought “Dos” was fitting….Spanish for 2…hehe 🙂
Oh, yes, you are correct!!! The horsey butt in one of the pics is the portrait sculpt…or it is supposed to be!
Not real thrilled with him so far. The horse I’m sculpting from is an older guy who is overweight and has a dropped belly so sculpting him is difficult. Can’t tell if my sculpt is on track or is way too lumpy! Oh well, back to work…sigh…***WARNING*** very picture heavy!!!!
I posted a few days ago that I recieved my package from scenceable!
I didn’t open it until now because I felt badly that my partner has not recieved my ornament. I explained this to scenceable but she was literally stalking the forum and was bursting at the seams to see what my reaction to her gift was! I finally opened it this morning! I took a 1 min video too but I don’t think I can upload it here. I did put it on my FB page 🙂
Well, like I said, the wrapping alone was amazing!!!!!! The 3 smaller gifts were things in Canada unavailable in the states. 2 candy’s and Canadian tea!!! So far, I’ve only eaten one. It was called “aeros” by nestle.
It was like an airatted choclate bar. Tasted like a crunch bar but with out the crunch. It was yummy! The other is chocolate sprees. I love sprees so I’ll let you know how the chocolate ones are. Thank you scenceable for the wonderful goodies!!!The beautiful wrapping by scenceable!!!
She wrote in a side note that she did NOT have time to do an actual sculpture but she hopes I enjoy what she came up with anyway.

I cannot express how amazing my ornament from her is!!! I posted lots of pics though in hopes to capture how awesome it is!!! If you don’t already know, I have a horse and she knows this. He is a Friesian. The love of my life!!!

Really….thank you thank you!!! He’s just amazing. I love him sooo much! I also love that I can keep him out all year too. He’s not just a tree ornament!!!

It’s from scenceable!!!!!! :D. There are three gifts all beautifully wrapped in gorgegous paper with ribbons. She also included some post cards which are made from the pictures she took for the calendar contest! I’m so excited! I’m gonna open them all in a little while and hopefully will get pictures up sometime tomorrow.

My ornament went out yesterday. I really hope she likes it. I’m a bit disappointed with the way it turned out but I’m pretty picky about my own work.Ive bitten off more then I could chew! I started two projects that are to be Christmas gifts. One is a hand sown full length cape and the other is a 1:12 scale portrait model of my friends horse. I’ve taken up sculpting and really enjoy it but the first sculpture I ever made still isn’t done and now I’ve started a portrait model! Yeah, stupid, I know! I love the idea of the ornament swap so I figured it wouldn’t be that big a deal to to since it was small.
Wrong again! I should also mention that I’m a perfectionist when it comes to my own art work so half my problem is that I will get something 3/4 done, decide it’s not right and start over!
I’ve spent the last three weeks on this ornament but this last week I spent ALL my time on! Yesterday was the first night I slept in 8 days! I litterally worked around the clock stopping only for bathroom breaks and feeding my family.
I sat down yesterday “to take a break” and the next thing I remember is my daughter waking me because my phone rang. It was 8 AM!!! Needless to say, mine didnt make it to the PO today and I feel awful about it but the good news is that I did get a lot done today and it will be completely done and in the mail by saterday!
I too am hoping my recipient likes it. Its not what I had visioned it would be but I think it’ll still be nice. Im sure I’ll adore what ever comes for me! I love tree ornaments so any new ornament will be cherished, especially one made with me in mind! Thank you to who ever put there time and energy into making me something for the holidays!!! I can’t wait to see what everyone has gotten!!! Are we allowed to say who made our ornament when we post the pictures?
