that is so cool looking. what is it made of? and how big is it?
He’s about the same size as the Windstone oriental dragon, 12 inches long about 4 to 5 inches high.
He’s made of ceramic.
Time is almost up for offers. If I don’t get a solid offer by the end of today, he’s going up on eBay. Just a heads up for anyone who is considering.

Ooohh, that is really pretty. Now I am really wondering who got my PYO exchange.
I’d love to have you have a go at my request, bet you’d come up with something really neat, not that whomever has it won’t either, but everyone has their own style.

He’s approx. 12 inches long, 4 inches tall and about 4 inches wide, give or take.
He’s not small. I’d say he’s about the same size as my jade oriental dragon, pretty close when I put them side by side.

Coolies, I did.
He’s a neat dragon isn’t he? I’ve had him for nearly 2 years…just sitting around unpainted, poor guy. I finally got around to it, I was going through withdrawals while waiting for my PYOs to show. 😆

He’s not a Windstone, but he’s cute.
Anyway, I thought I would offer the dragon lovers on here a chance at him before putting him up on eBay.
If interested, just PM me.
Thanks.

I’d write her and let her know that the time frame she is offering is unacceptable.
If she needed more time to get the funds, she should have contacted you before the auction ended and asked about it. I have done this in the past to good effect, I really wanted a bunch of books a seller had, but I was going to be broke until a few days after the payment due by date. So before I bid, I asked if she would mind waiting those extra few days if I won the auction. She agreed and I lucked out and won it.
But I asked first. Your bidder should have as well.
If she really wants that Flion, she’ll pony up, if not, relist him.

Congrats! That OW is the one I plan to get first too.

I’d offer him in the Flea Market, but it says it is for Windstones, and this guy is a ceramic.
Here he is:
If no one wants him, I will be posting him up on eBay tomorrow.
PM with offers.
I painted him a couple days ago, and he’s all gloss coated and ready to go.

I love Whelan’s art. I missed out on a book on his art once. Now I think it’s out of print. 🙁
I have that book!
I suggest hunting for it on eBay, someone somewhere is probably selling it.
Me, all I am selling atm is a stuffed duck, and the auction is going nowhere fast…37 mins left and nada…lost money just listing the darn thing.

Talking about artists, another really awesome aretist out there is Josephine Wall. Oh how I love all the little details and hidden animals and birds she puts in her stuff.
I have read Tailchaser’s Song, but never did pick up the Dragonbone Chair series, perhaps I should.

You know, I wish these griffons could be the club sculpture, but unfortunately it wouldn’t be practical. But I can still dream!

When I saw the subject line all I could hear was Count from Sesame Street repeating the lines. Does that show how old I am or what? 😆
Anyway, I am so glad there isn’t going to be a set number and I pray I am in a position to get one, because I really really love this color combination you’ve done on these.

Good luck!
Only horror story I have is when I was in labor with my daughter, who incidentally will be a year old on the 23rd.
My nurse left me for 3 hours, on a 20 min mission for a floor doctor. The hospitals policy on nurses was only the assigned nurse would attend the room. So I got no pain killers, and no help outside of my family for all that time.
When she left me I was dialated 3, when she came back I was 8.5, she barely had time to get the doctor on call and the anethesiologist. As it was I was hitting transition while I got the epi, and had to sit still through three contractions while he did it.
In retrospect I think I should have skipped the epi, but man those labor pains were hard to deal with. Worth it, but still a bit on the tough side.

I just cover my paint tray with saran wrap, no water added and I’ve gone as long as a week and still had wet paint. As long as the surface the paint is resting on is non porous, it should work pretty well.

Please note that the prices at Astral Castle tend to be the first issued price. If there were Windstone-issued price increases during the time kirins were in production, his prices may reflect that, so they may be more than this.
That’s okay…better than current eBay prices, and on top of that, these will be mint…I can deal.
