Yeah to me that’s a BIG list. LOL I can work on the smaller ones, but as for the families it’s hard to know where to start! XD

Haven’t done this in a while. I just purchased a Black Violet Coiled yesterday so soon he shall be added to this small but well-loved collection.
First is “Jasper” the Scratching Jade, whom I am told is a somewhat rare color. He was purchased about seventeen years ago now at a mall and is my first piece. I had him on layaway and was super excited to take him home after many $15 payments! How I miss THAT store, which sadly no longer exists.

Then there is the Emerald Peacock male I found in another mall about four years ago. I’d been wanting one of these regal males for years! Next to him is his young dragon counterpart who was a Christmas gift 🙂

Then there are the curled “twins”, I seem to recall someone trading with me or perhaps just selling me the pink one, and the one on the right not sure…jade, emerald?

Then there are my prize signed dragons, of which the baby is unfortunately chipped (sigh) and I am currently looking for someone to repair him. Thankfully the lap is in pristine condition. I hope to add more signed pieces if they become available to finish the gold family. 🙂

I hope you enjoyed looking at my humbly small but well-adored dragon collection! Believe me if I was rich I’d have many more!

This was a VERY good Christmas for me X)

We use the Christmas wish list thingies on the internet….so we only get what people really want.
I got:

Ultra Sonic Humidifier from Sharper Image
Microfleece sheet set (sooooo soft and warm)
2 Underbed shoe organizers (I asked for this cause my shoes are just all over my closet lol)
Scarf and gloves set in a really lovely red *_*
Beautiful soap box (it looks like an old book with travel stamps) with 4 kinds of organic soaps
Organic body lotion (gardenia scent, so lovely)
Godiva raspberry dark chocolate bar :yum:
Gift cards for Best Buy, Marshalls, and Subway
2 bracelets
White Diamonds perfume set (I loooove this perfume)
A WINDSTONE dragon statue!!! :boogie: This was an extra-special gift from my brother and sister-in-law! I actually squealed when I opened it! I just don’t squeal, ever. LOL (I posted a pic of it in the General Windstones section ,it was the young empea)
A delicious-smelling Mainstays candle…warm apple pie…. ** (This was actually a gift from a co-worker)

I also got a Christmas present to myself, a new camera! It’s an awesome “bridge” camera, a Fuji S2500 with HD video. This is a great camera to teach more of the SLR-like functions and it has 18x zoom!!!

I feel truly blessed this year and thankful to God. Gifts are nice but the real praise goes to Him. 😉 I hope everyone has truly enjoyed Christmas and will have a FANTASTIC NEW YEAR!!

YEESH. So how many of you got stuck with a foot or more of snow yesterday?? We got nailed HARD (I’m in NJ) and the winds are BRUTAL. We went outside around 12noon to literally dig out our cars from 3-5 foot snow drifts….and it was COLD work, because the light dusty snow kept blowing in our faces from the winds. Sometimes the winds kicked up so hard we had to turn our backs to it…my brother actually got knocked over by the gusts at one time! 😆

I was dumb and didn’t think to take a pic fast enough before we dug the cars out! You could barely see them! o.0;

Anyway, it was kinda nice having an extra day off. 🙂 But the bad news is….tomorrow work will be PILED up due to not only this but the Holiday….yikes!! 😮 It’s gonna be a fun week in the office, I can tell you that now. Ah well…at least New Year’s is on the way.
HOLY CRAP IT’S GONNA BE 2011! WHERE DOES THE TIME GO?! :shrug:

If you’re talking about the black panther that’s a very old figurine I also took from my grandma’s house. My dad accidentally broke it into pieces once, but he spent time fixing it up as well as he could. I always liked it so I asked my Aunt for it.

And Melody yes, he’s a jade! My most treasured piece…Jasper’s survived 3 moves so far (and will have to go for a 4th soon) has been WASHED under the sink tap XD and still looks amazing. Of course now I know better than to wash Windstones under streaming water…. 😳

I finally got my Aunt to bring over my late Grandmother’s curio cabinet. It’s a gorgeos piece with a mirrored back and lights.
The Windstones look just spectacular in it!
The top shelf, for now, has my Schleich collection on it.

The pink curled is one of my faves!

Hello 🙂 I know I’ve been sparse on this board lately so I thought I’d share something interesting (and very cool) how many of you collect or just own some of the Schleich fantasy figures? If you don’t know, these are highly detailed, durable toys made by a German company, and they can be found in places like Toys R Us. You can also find plenty of them on the internet! There are also some awesome, large-scale dragon figures I’m dying to get my hands on, but they cost $30-$50 so they will have to wait for now.
So here’s my small but growing collection so far. Being a huge horse lover, I guess it’s no surprise I love to nab the fantasy horses (and regulars) when I can find them.
Here’s the pegasus family….the standing male is an earlier version, the female and baby are the newer versions that have designs on their backs.

Here’s the very beautifully designed unicorn family…

Horse family I picked out…I believe the mommy draft horse and the baby go together, but the male may or may not be part of that set. All you horse experts can try and identify the color/breed but I’m pretty sure the mom is a draft, like a Belgian most likely. All these pieces are anatomically correct underneath 😀

Here’s a rather unusual piece and completely awesome…never saw this one in stores I ordered it off the internet. It’s a phoenix and has quite a wingspan!

And lastly here is a chimera made of total awesome-sauce. This is not Schleich but made by a company called Safari that has very similar high quality toys with a lot of detail.

Here is thing’s amazing tail! I am in awe over the detail on the scale work! For a $16 toy that’s pretty impressive in my opinion!

So I’m curious if we have other Schleich collectors out there! Do you like them? Let me know! Share pics too if you want, I’d love that! 😉
