congrats ddvm!! That took some nervy bidding and well worth it! Those are absolutely amazing!!
whoa- I’ve never looked at all of the fatalities all at the same time. It seems the re-occurring culprit is using boxes that are way too small. Maybe this is why I’ve only been buying direct from Windstone lately! π

http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-8/1068834/flion-4-3009.jpgHi!
This was an interesting little exercise. It would appear that I have had much more Time to collect since I retired. Now if I just had the $$$ to go with the time! All the LEs are new, of course and have been my collecting focus of late. Anyway here are links to my LEs. I still can’t figure out that pixel thing, no matter– this works.http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-8/1068834/5-25-breyer,windstones,pets083.jpg

WHAT?! Did you ask her directly? If it’s true– π
oops sorry about the new thread on this subject–shoulda known someone else would see it before this ol’ Granny!!
Well, actually I am pushing the last category, and don’t intend to stop collecting until there are no more “categories” for me!! π
I fell in love with Windstone when they first started showing up in the gifts shop. My soon to be ex-husband knew this and in a vain attempt to make some amends, bought me the Large Flap Cat. I still have the Cat, of course, thank goodness I don’t have him!! π
oh yeah–this ain’t gonna happen
Pretty!
Hi there–
I have sent the required email twice and not heard from anyone-Since I am new I probably zigged when I should have zagged. Anyway, could you please add 2-medusas to the list?
Thanks!!Very impressive!!
In Breyer world we would call that a Conga Line. Looks like you are gonna need a longer shelf! πps–I think I have seen the word Brindle applied to animals other than dogs as it refers to the color pattern not the breed. Anyone know if that is true?
huh?
oh, I figured it out and I just selected that option in the profile. Please don’t tell me that, this malfunction has any thing to do with me “Breaking the Forum” with my mega-pic last week? π³Oh My God!
You know it’s really not nice to tease financially challenged people like that!!!!!! π π
You certainly could “quit your day job”!Boy, talk about not Knowing your Product!
I wonder just what he means by “some little chips”? I’m always leery when there is only one photo of an item, been burned more than once. The minimum number of photos I post for an auction is four, up to twelve if required. Keeps me busy and out of trouble, sort of. πOh! He is soooooooo cooooooooool!!! Beautiful. You wouldn’t be planning of selling would you? My favorite color is purple- π π
I collect Breyer Horses! I have been almost my entire life. My parents swear that my very first word was horsey. I got my first Breyer in 1959, The Black and White Western Horse, at age 5 and yes, I still have him.
I currently have close to 300. I have significantly reduced my Herd the past couple of years because I want upgrade and refine it. You know, quit getting every single thing that has Breyer on it π and focus on my favorite molds, special LEs and some customs.
I live too far out “in the boonies” to get to any of the shows but I am toying with the idea of trying a Photo Show.
I am lucky enough to have a real ‘horsey’ and that is wonderful! I can’t ride anymore due to health reasons but it doesn’t seem to bother her a bit just being pampered and doted upon! πbluepony78 wrote:I play with my daughter a lot, since she seems to be growing at the speed of light(over a year old already!) I also go for a two hour walk every day(trying to loose weight) to clear my head….I usually just think about model horses. And how we can pay down our credit enough to sell this house and move out somewhere where we can have real ponies.
I am totally engrossed in model horses. It’s a vain attempt to fill the need to have a real one π . I paint full time, go to shows any chance I get(aka when hubby can watch baby), cruise eBay for the latest find, run my model horse buisness, that kinda thing.
I did stumble across this vidio,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=68hEto84Cu4This is *the* pony that inspires me to do better, pay off our credit cards in one single swoop, ect. She’s my dream pony, Welsh, dapple grey, bred is just a PERK.

When I saw that she was sold, I was so sad I almost cried π₯ *someday*
I also kill lots of plants. We live in town, under trees, right next to houses, so natural sunlight is a rarity. I have a small sun room, and that window gets some light, so I’m in the process of killing some rasberry and tomatoes plants. I bought a kit of strawberry plants, but it kinda looks like the dead twigs that came in it are still dead. π―
