You can find all of these items in separate auctions in mint condition over time for about half what this guy wants for them.
What he really should do is break them up into separate auctions. Likely that this method won’t sell.
But despite the number of items, $1300 is just a bit too much, that makes the average cost of each $130, and many of those pieces aren’t worth that, most of the small ones are way less, I kinda did a rough price analysis, and I’d say the set is somewhere around $950 in value, so he’s gouging just a bit.
I also think the shipping is high, but then again, they are heavy.

At least he didn’t follow suite with the $200 or $700 Pearl dragon plan, like previous eBay sellers.

There were two other sellers that listed Male Pearl dragons:
One was listed at $200 and the other was listed as a “Secret Keeper” at $700.May 23, 2007 at 2:57 am #579708😆 😆 😆 😆 😐 😆 😆 😆
May 23, 2007 at 3:29 am #579709i understand now, algy.
if you read the description of the auction closely, you will find many spelling errors and net speak. sounds like a kid.
May 23, 2007 at 3:41 am #579710That same seller has a pecock OW up though, for $300. I think that’ll sell.

May 23, 2007 at 4:18 am #579712What do you know – it’s a prototype! I didn’t even notice that.

If that’s true, I’m surprised they didn’t put a little more thought into the listing. Well, maybe not after the 10pc family grouping.
But if you say you have a letter of authenticity, wouldn’t you read it?? If nothing else, letters usu. tell you neat tidbits that make the piece sound good. I figure if you went to the trouble of buying a prototype, and then had to sell it, you’d advertise why it’s worth more.May 23, 2007 at 4:32 am #579714Even if it weren’t a prototype, I’m sure it would sell for the $300. Another one did. But a prototype is worth way more than that.
