I can’t remember which thread had someone suggest a “dark” or Halloween theme for the next grab bag. There were some definite “dittos” that followed, so I thought I would put in a BIG squeak, squeak, squeak for that.

It was over in the cougars! Yes, there are a ton of us who would be ALL OVER a Halloween or Dark themed grab bag! I think it would work well on an amazing array of sculpts – Unis, Poads, Wolves, Tanukis. Skulls, Skeletons, Bats, Cats, Snakes, Candy, Jack’O’Laterns, or just colors schemes in blacks, greys, reds, oranges, greens, purples…I would be so excited to see this!

DRAGONS: Male CoyoteSeptember 3, 2015 at 3:55 am #934184Have you ever thought about doing a female counterpart to the Old Warrior dragon? He’s my absolute favorite sculpt but I’m JUST purchasing my first one. He’s a gorgeous old test paint. I think the sculpt could use a mate – A Grandmother dragon?
I consider the Lap dragon to be his counterpart. She isn’t a warrior though, can’t be bothered with that nonsense.
Ah, I had never thought of them as counterparts as she seems so delicate and young to me. I’ll have to keep my eyes peeled for a Lap to keep my new Warrior company 😉
She’s a smart dragon, she likes older “men” 😉

That would be AMAZING. PLEASE do this! Halloween is the best holiday of the year!
September 3, 2015 at 4:08 am #934186I agree a Halloween themed grab bag would be awesome! Not sure what sculpt would be good though but maybe something roundish like cats or poads to paint things on like pumpkins, bats, cats, moons, skeletons, etc.
Looking for rainbow or pink & teal grab bags!
September 3, 2015 at 12:36 pm #934194I think Halloween fat cat pebbles would be ideal. Cats are always associated with Halloween, and the sculpt is big and smooth enough to have cool little bats and bones and pumpkins painted on them.
Also, I think if Melody painted Halloween poads, certain people here might actually overdose on poads. You know who you are. 😉

Yes, yes, yes!!!! Poads or the fat cats would be a great vehicle for Halloween paints

It’s really hard to overdose on poads. Believe me. I’ve tried. 😉

DRAGONS: Male CoyoteSeptember 3, 2015 at 5:34 pm #934199I also have my own little poad army but have only one fat cat with a fish on it so if Melody did fat cats like the fishy ones but with Halloween decorations, that would be awesome! Halloween is my favourite holiday! Now that I am picturing a sparkle black fat cat with an orange pumpkin on it, I really want one!
Looking for rainbow or pink & teal grab bags!
September 3, 2015 at 6:00 pm #934201I’ll add my squeak for Halloween fat cats! That would actually be totally awesome! I think Melody is doing the sitting foxes right now, so maybe after those? Gives them time to cast more fat cats!
Love baby kirins, safari poads, mini keepers, and anything BLUE, BLUE, and, oh yes, BLUE.
September 5, 2015 at 8:00 pm #934289I’d buy anything Halloween themed, but Halloween/Dark fantasy poads…I’d sell a kidney. I like pumpkins but I think several simple themes would be awesome – ravens, bats, bones, spiderwebs, spider markings. I would just about die for a black widow poad and that’s a very simple marking.
And, as always, any type of baby or young uni would make extraordinarily happy.
Poads don’t celebrate Halloween. They celebrate “Rue-Heckle day”. It is similar.

Then, I think a Rue-Heckle day poad would be awesome. In the spirit of cultural exchange, you understand 😉

Young unicorns with skulls and crossbones etc would be amazing
September 7, 2015 at 11:37 am #934311Oh My Goodness, Halloween-themed Baby Poads would be AWESOME! Can you imagine ones with their little heads painted like skulls?! With backbones and ribs on their sides?! Ones with big pumpkins on their backs and vines swirling all over the place?! Others painted with various gourds; Some with bat wings on their backs and some painted with a sunset/dusk pattern and a shadowy graveyard scene?! Some even painted to look like they’re ghosts…this would be a dream!
.*ºSearching for Spectrals and Rising Spectrals in all patterns and colors!º*.
September 11, 2015 at 10:53 pm #934396I was wondering why the gothic unicorns can’t be treated the same as many of the dragon colors? I mean – they would look wonderful in bronze patina, the black violet or black gold where the color fades down the legs or the mane/tail the color, the lavender, the blue morpho or WAIT….the elven color!
Of course since we are only allowed to post here once, I feel obligated to mention other desirables:
pyo pegasus
pyo gothic unicorn
more of the elven color in the dragons
more of the grab bag colors on a regular basis…like the leaf or flower pattern on the backs of the unicorns – make a regular color. How about a wyvern? A winged dragon with only two legs? It could be similar to the hyppocampus that you are making currently as a pyo?
