July 14, 2015 at 12:13 am #931844Pardon me for being a pill, but would it be possible to get any sort of a time frame on the GB cougars? (and perhaps a sneak peek  ) I keep trying to envision what they might look like and all my brain will conjure up are the gorgeous ones we have seen on eBay and the strawberry cougars you posted a while back. Granted – those are incredible, but I would presume those are too intricate for a grab bag.
I painted about 17 of GB cougars and then needed to quit.
I was having a bad few days because of the weather. It was so hot, I couldn’t get the paint to work right, and I was all sweaty and crabby, so I gave up! I switched to tanukis, but now that the weather has cooled off, I am considering switching back to cougars. I don’t know what I am doing. This is normal.Thank you so much for the update. After seeing the eBay tanukis, I am eager for which ever grab bag strikes your fancy to paint.
July 14, 2015 at 2:12 am #931850At the risk of becoming annoying, I will keep squeaking until a yellow-eyed snow leopard emperor dragon exists. Pretty pretty please, Melody. It would look amazing! 😀
Maybe there will be some in the grab bag batch?
Crosses fingers.
Life is beautiful.
July 14, 2015 at 2:26 am #931851Love all the ebay cougars… Will there be some like bat flower and rose tiger along with the leopard prints for the grab bags?? And is there an eta on when they will be finished?
Thanks!July 14, 2015 at 2:44 am #931853Squeaking for Pebbles in ‘Feelie’ form, I think that was the term used for when Melody was talking about doing the pebbles in smooth/waxed non painted gypsum way. I think that would be awesome for those of us that like to use the small pebble as worry stones!

These look a lot like the Spaz Stix brand of paint I use on some of my PYOs (I only use Spaz Stix after I’ve put down a base coat of acrylic because I don’t want the Spaz Stix to touch the gypsum directly). I know Spaz Stix is formulated for the bodies of model cars (basically plastic). The stuff smells really chemically strong. I thought Windstone used water based paints so I’m not sure if these are safe for use on the gypsum of the production pieces. Would be SUPER COOL if it was though!

I’m pretty sure a grab bag of emperor dragons only exists in my dreams. But yes, I am looking forward to the grab bag cougars too. 😉

I consider the Lap dragon to be his counterpart. She isn’t a warrior though, can’t be bothered with that nonsense.

LOL! That’s how I think of her, too. She just waits serenely at home for the Warrior to return. They always look so good together.
