Painted a tiny koi dragon today.
It has little gold-colored foil flakes on its body. I don’t know that the foil is made of but it’s so light that if you breathe in its general direction the stuff goes everywhere.
I liked the simple design so much I opted not to paint eyes on it.
It is for sale; contact me if interested. I can add eyes per buyer’s request.

Had a new painting commission recently.
My friend wants a painted figure for each season. They have Halloween/fall, so this is their Christmas/winter one.
Since my holiday gift exchange swapee has gotten their gift I can post the little diorama I made for them here!
I made this to go with a little tiger ornament I had bought. The original intention was to make it 3 pieces so the box could be closed if it wasn’t used. …but I kind of went overboard with the foliage and had to make it all one piece to prevent any damage to the glued-on parts.
A little commission piece I finished for a friend:
It has four different shades of pearly paint on it (3 pink and 1 white) but the camera doesn’t pick it up well at all.
This dragon is so tiny that a piece of heart glitter is big enough for it to hold.Thank you both!:) I’ve been working on a small little something to accompany this dragon over the holiday weekend. Hopefully I can take a picture today or tomorrow depending on if touch-ups are needed.

Another commission piece I finished for my friend.
This one is for Easter and themed after a fancy enameled egg. Its size made it difficult to paint on a lot of detail so I added rhinestones and glitter. The egg-shaped piece of glitter is to help indicate that it’s Easter-themed since I was worried the colors might be too wintery.
I ended up having to repaint the weasel, so here is Easter Weasel Version 2.0!
Looks much better imo.
And another recently-finished piece, an Easter-themed fox!
The one request was that it bee green. While I was painting the body, it reminded me of the fake grass you put in Easter baskets, so I decided to add jelly beans since they’re a pretty classic basket staple. It’s balancing a jelly-bean shaped piece of glitter on its paw.
I really like how the piece came out, so I’m going to paint the paper mache unicorn a candy theme with lots of jelly beans. I just love candy themes.
