It’s not a problem for me if the colours aren’t split but someone else had suggested it on Facebook. I would take my chances and hope I get a rainbow one. I was more asking as I know a few people specifically would like to get the blue or cool coloured ones and others like me like the rainbow ones but of course like any grab bag hopefully it would work out with trading.

I ranted and then deleted it. I’m frustrated that Melody has said multiple times what the 3 groups are going to be and it’s not being heard so I understand etruscan’s frustration.
Let’s just be understanding.
Maybe some people miss the things Melody says which might be why people are asking similar questions and making similar suggestions.
Bottom line is we are all super excited 😃

DRAGONS: Male CoyoteI think that Melody has done everything she can do to be fair about this grab bag. She didn’t have to split it into groups at all. I think that Etruscans comment has merit. Melody listed the three groups and the “suggestions” started. This is a business and they have bent over backwards to make as many people as they can happy. These are beyond beautiful cougars that she has taken time to paint. Whoever gets one should be happy.

Amen, Ferlin. It’s one thing to politely ask for things, but it’s often a fine line between suggestions and pleading. Now, I know I am guilty of pleading for things (is anyone surprised when I ask for red eyes? 😂). But a good rule of thumb is – Has Melody/Susie/Windstone ASKED for suggestions? Then go for it! A recent example was them asking for dragon name suggestions! But other than when they are asking for suggestions, it’s best to remember that politely asking for something and owning the fact that it’s YOUR PREFERENCE is pretty much where it should stop. Example: “I would love to get one of each batch, and I hope the limit is one per person per batch!” Not “It’s not fair if I have to choose between batches!” It’s all about remembering there are lots of other people in the world, all with differing wants, and especially in a business situation, your preferences are no more important than the next customers.

I’m sorry but how is this not a completely rude thing to say to me? Thanks Courtney for saying what you did in response. I would NEVER say to someone that if they have a problem with something that they shouldn’t buy one. I did not have a problem with the batches. I was confused at first what they were and then made suggestions because on Facebook Melody wasn’t sure how she would divide them and seemed open to suggestions and I was taking into consideration what a couple other people had asked about with dividing colours. Please if you have anything to say be respectful.

It’s not up to us to decide the difference between suggestions and pleading. The entire purpose of the forum is to exchange information.
It’s never ok to belittle people.

I think etruscan was just trying to point out Melody should make whatever decision is best for her and to keep trying to change her mind after it’s made up on said decision is not helping out considering all she already does for us. Keep Susie in mind as well, she is the one who has to sort all this nonsense out every time.
Believe me when I say Kim is not going to NOT buy any based on how the batch is broken up, LOL! I don’t see anything wrong with what etruscan said. It wasn’t rude, it was a factual statement.Anyway, I’m curious also if they will be one per customer per batch, or if it will be a flat one per customer period, meaning you cannot buy one from each batch. We ran into come confusion when the GB Orientals were released into a couple of different batches because it was worded a little odd and I don’t think a lot of people caught it. I know I didn’t. I don’t even read the descriptions 95% of the time. I’m just trying to get to the check out as fast as possible before they’re gone!
