Melody only had about 120 painted as of Saturday and I don’t think those had been stamped or signed.
That means she needed to paint at least 80 more this week to get a batch of 200.
Plus they all need to go through quality control, be stamped, signed, and packed.
They _could_ finish up this week, but that’s a lot to get done in 4-5 days.
I don’t think it will take until October though 🙂
Guess it is not meant to be then…:(
I think you may have mis-read, my best guess is before October. 🙂 All of next week is still September thank goodness!!!
Yes, I did miss read and I do apologize. I’ve got a lot on my mind and plate, which has my anxiety running high. A Red Pebble Fox is a must for me obviously! I could miss all the other Pebbles and be happy as long as I have a Red Fox. Though, I do love the Cats to pieces. Thanks for clarifying…:)
I just wanted to make sure you weren’t worrying prematurely 🙂
September 18, 2014 at 11:15 pm #919082Oh good, I have a few days to save up! (really want to buy a Flip Flap Cat, but then I’d be broke for another 2 weeks) Did I mention I hate getting paid bi-weekly? It’s so hard to plan ahead of time! LOL!
Got a busted Windstone?

I work as a consultant and, although I submit my invoice for services rendered by the last day of the month, my check can arrive, via USPS, anywhere from five to twenty five days later. This month, the company forgot to process my invoice at all. The only reason I will get paid is that I raised a fuss when I’d not heard anything back from the manager who approves my invoice. Right now my bank account is sucking fumes and I am hoping the red foxes don’t come out until Accounts Payable gets off her duff and pays me! To top it off, the lady in AP won’t answer my emails so I cannot make plans…AGGHHH!!!! 😐

September 19, 2014 at 12:57 am #919098As much as I’d rather purchase these pieces knowing the color beforehand, I hope I’m available to snatch one of each grab bag. I’d feel silly to hold off, then have productions ones unexpectedly delayed for a long, long time. I think my head would actually explode :p

Are the grab bags the only ones coming out soon?
Looking for-
red fire young dragon
old animal line frog, wolf, barn owl, tortoise, tiger cubSeptember 19, 2014 at 3:14 am #919109Good question. Also, are you going to release them after most people get home from school or work? Like, 5-7 maybe?

September 19, 2014 at 3:15 am #919108I am having the same dilemma at the moment Drag0n! I want to catch the GB Red Foxes, happy that I have this week not to worry about missing them, but being sorely tempted by those Flip Flap cats… which would leave me not being able to buy any other fun things for a while.
(It doesn’t help Jericho is staring at me from the screen, saying “Get me a friend!”)

Odds are strong they have no idea which day, hour or price they will be…
You do hold a good chance at finding out what hour they will release on the day, if you sign up for notifications… The email usually goes out 2-3 hrs before the release, sometimes a lil earlier…I’ve seen these questions asked over and over in the couple of years I’ve been around, I have learned to keep close tabs on my email and generally on the site when I am looking forward to a release.. otherwise, it isn’t going to do any good asking for date, time and price until release day! (and price is usually unveiled when they’re released, rarely before.. though if Susie finds out price from whoever decides that part, she will note it in the notification email)
Also remember if the batch is larger, that sometimes the cart does a funky thing of keeping a piece in a cart, even after someone has checked out, or people put them in carts and never do anything with it, so if you miss the first run, look and see if the store just says “Out of Stock” if that is the case, check back 45 minutes after the release time and you could snag one that’s dropped out of a cart… It’s when the “Notify when back in stock” button comes up that the store is *actually* sold out.Annnnnd… there is my lil tip section for grab bags XD lol..
September 19, 2014 at 11:37 pm #919149Thanks… I can’t check my email until I get home, though. I have signed up for notifications and find them to be quite helpful.

September 19, 2014 at 11:47 pm #919150just be careful not to rely on the email though, sometimes they don’t go out when they’re supposed to….I think it was one of the blue morpho dragons that had a big going out gap, a lot didn’t know the sculpt had come out via email until several hours later…..
4 things I'm looking for:
1. Mother Meerkat
2. production color Sitting Young Oriental dragons to be made in more colors besides VF, Brimstone would be awesome!
3. Female Griffin – Siamese with White

Thank you Kaytana! You’ve summed things up very nicely! I couldn’t have done it better myself.
To add: I don’t think we’ve ever released anything in the morning – late afternoon or evening are more likely. And DEFINITELY keep in mind that its not out of stock until the “notify” button reappears! We seem to always have a large quantity released from being held in shopping carts beginning 45 minutes after the time I put the item into the store. And as usual – once the time has been arranged for the release – kindly do not refresh your screen a zillion times (or run a script that auto-refreshes) just before that time – if everyone does that the site freezes and I cannot put them up at all!
We still do not know when the foxes will be ready, or what the price will be.
September 22, 2014 at 9:56 pm #919269will we be getting a class photo of the red foxes?

4. September Raffle Prize 2022 AHD Male GriffinSeptember 23, 2014 at 4:08 pm #919302Aghh I’m getting so nervous! I’m assuming there will be a class picture, since I believe there has been for every other grab bag. (Correct me if I’m wrong!) I’m holding out a tiny bit of hope that even if I am working on the day these come out that the arctics coming out at the same time will cause enough confusion that I can nab a fox haha.
