Thanks all! I’ll have to wait until I get home from work to compare the pictures, and post up a few of my own. The old brown male pictured in Astral Castle’s encyclopedia has a real notable scowl to him. It’s the squinty-est male I’ve ever seen 🙂

Oooh glittery! Very cute little guy.

Is the horn still whole, or is it snapped at the base? Either way, the use of a little white glue should fix it if the horn fits cleanly back where its supposed to. If not, you’ll have to pull the horn out and scrape out the glue that’s already in there, which may damage the paint. If you can just glue it back in as-is, you’ll need to hold the horn in place until the glue sets. A rubber band around the horn and the back of the head might keep it steady long enough. Good luck!

Hello all! I thought I’d make a request: if anyone on the board is lucky enough to own one of those old castings of the male dragons with the low, frowny eyebrows, could you please post some pictures of the face? I got an old brown in the mail today who looks like he has one normal eye, and one ‘frowny’ one. Strange, but cute! I wanted to try and compare to see just which kind he is. Thanks in advance!

July 18, 2007 at 9:45 pm in reply to: Gothic Uni, Large wizard on Ebay! — Less than one day! #599333Hello! The white uni is the only one nobody’s made an offer for yet. Technically everything is still open to offers. You might have to wait a bit until some people get back to me for a definite answer, but let me know!

If I remember right, the older browns had light blue eyes, and then they switched to a darker blue. Or I could have it backwards, eek! Either way all of the peacock dragons I’ve ever seen have the light blue eyes.

Like Koishii, I have my own ‘brand’ of dragon that’s existed in my head for many years. They were actually inspired by the first peacock Windstones I saw when I was young, but actually don’t resemble them closely. I guess my dragons look most similar to the male sculpt. *shrugs*

A chip on two front hooves, and one hind hoof. All were resculpted with Apoxiesculpt, the patches repainted in acrylics, and varnished.

I posted in the General forum about this guy’s repair a while back. He came to me from Skigod with a broken off right arm, and some chips on the base. All original pieces that could be glued back were, and the gaps were filled and sculpted with Apoxiesculpt. The patches have been painted to match, and varnished. Since he came to me through the forum, I’d love for him to go to one of our members!

Hello Jvargas! I recently patched up an old large blue/red wizard myself, he had a similar problem with a broken off, crumbly right arm and staff. If Kyrin passes on him, I’d be happy to give it a try. Thanks and good luck!

Aww, poor dragon! I’d be happy to try and fix him up. I do resculpting with Apoxie Sculpt, as it seems to be more reliable and easier to work with than plaster. I have a post on the commissions thread in the Flea Market about repairs too. Send me a PM and I’m sure we can work something out!
