You have my vote 😀 Halloween raffle!
I agree! Beautiful black jaguar.
Yeah 🙁
No doctor worn their salt will ever take a sitcom seriously, mind you I have met some in person who, even after reading my files and chatting to others, don’t believe my condition 100%, but we are concerned over parents and newly diagnosed patients and potential ones who think ‘oh, this will be okay’. Discovery Channel or NatGeo, I forget which did it, once did a FOP episode but sensationalised it, using the unforgiveable term ‘Medusa Syndrome’.
I wish producers would take research seriously, and not turn it into a shock value trip or a freak show.
LMAO, my dragon name is apparently Regal Barbarian. How boring.
Congrats!
I shall have to take photos of the collection I share with my twin. Quite a lot of them. Nice thread!
So uh…are back-to-back grab bags like this common? Cuz, oy! The money bleeeeeds from me! >_<
I'm not even a huge poad fan, yet I find these to be rather cute.
I try to do a grab bag of some kind each month. I consider the tadpoads to be bonus gbs, since the idea was to paint a large enough batch to always have them available, unlike the other grab bags.
I can almost keep up! An edition this size should last many months in the store. The idea is that if someone wants one, don’t panic, just get one when you can, and folks can combine shipping with other pieces.Tads are small and easy to trade around with other people to get the exact one you want.Probably what you are calling “back to back” grab bags are one batch that we decided to make into two separate batches because they could be easily divided into different themes, such as fantasy and natural.
This is just to give people a better chance to get the kind of paint scheme they want.So there are liferally dozens and dozens of safari toadies? I just bought two fantasy ones, need to save up to buy two safari ones, so I hope they stay in stock for a while!
I didn’t count them. I think there are nearly 500 total, counting both kinds. The last gb batch I did was about half that number, and it took a couple months to sell out. These should last a good while!
Awesome! I caved in and bought two; for my sister and I, again. She’s going to kill me.

I have family in Italy who once had a wolf-dog, I forget her name though 🙁
It’s lovely!
Congrats! 😀
Yeah, it’s done some good as Ifopa and other FOP orgs have gotten donations and enquiries, however we are all concerned with how they downplayed it and gave false information. 🙁
Like, they gave the impression that FOP amounts to a benign lump. No disability or life threatening complications. Or how most FOP cases are diagnosed through misdiagnosis of limb amputation, mistaken for cancer, so it’s horrifying that some people who watched it now believe FOP is relatively harmless.
Sir Stephen Fry had signal boosted his video on FOP to overtake the BBC blunder so that is also good news!
A fellow FOPer gave me the rundown of the episode, it sounded terrible in other aspects; the FOP girl apparently was walking around and such with a collapsed lung. Casualty sounds like they don’t do ANY research, which is funny because they contacted FOP Friends for help with their character!
The new foxes are amazing! I had no idea they were even made until I saw them on Facebook!
I was wondering what other pebble animals you have coming up.
I seem to remember someone asking about weasels or ferrets? How about badgers?
Or… Lion Kirin?..
Oriental dragon?
Monkey?
Lol. Not that you don’t have a ton to do, but if you need ideas I’m sure everyone would be happy to help! There is a sitting pebble grey fox that we haven’t painted yet.
Grey foxes are so pretty in their natural grey fox color I may just do a batch of them all the same, not a grab bag.
I try to stick to simple rounded animals for pebbles, so dragons and other detailed, pointy things are difficult. I have a pebble dragon that I have been considering for years… but -eh. Too hard. I’ll keep poking at it.
I have been working on a horse pebble. Jeese, there is so much horse art out there already! -but I just wanted to. I have never done a normal horse without wings or horns. And I want to do a pebble chicken… andjeesethereissomuchchickenartouttherealready!!
-butIjustwantto.Oh my god, a pebble chook would be a dream.
I am still holding out for boars again. Wishful thinking.
Wyrms, cockatrices/basilisks would be wicked. I imagine chimeras would be a real nightmare however.
So cute!!
I just got my first two Fantasy poads for my twin and I can’t wait for them to arrive 😀

Their prices are awful to begin with, but the condition and unsafe packaging skills are unforgivable.
