  • Not sure how to update posts so I’ll just mention I’m still looking for a Peacock Lap and then my peacock dragon set will be complete. Of course I’d love the Secret Keeper but I’m not holding out much hope on ever seeing one of those for sale.

There is a reasonably priced peacock hatching emperor dragon on ebay right now.

Seller has some other pieces too, but they just aren’t listed under “Windstone.” I always think it’s fun to be a bit creative and figure out what the non-obsessive collectors would label their auctions as.

Thank you for spotting that and alerting me. I purchased it, now I just have to wait and hope it’s as good as they claimed.

    Peacock Lap Dragon
    Peacock Hatching Emperor

Prefer mint with box and tag. Will pay up front.

Wow, I really do need to see one then., I have a feeling that a lot of my physical problems will be better if I do. It’s too bad I can’t do a raffle, it was my only hope. I was about ready to raffle off my entire Windstone collection if I had to (but I do love them!) KC’s was the only windstone in this house that could have been worth a little more. How do I shop around for Chiropractors? Do they all need to do tests and x-rays on me to know the potential cost? My insurance will only pay for the first 25 visits, and I still have to pay a 60 dollar deductible during the first 25. After that, it is out of pocket. That is probably why it is so much-1500 total, deductible cost for the 25 visits, and then 1100 that would be totally my costs after the first 25. We need better insurance. πŸ™„
Thank you all for your experiences and your well wishes. I agree that no one should live with chronic pain because it is too much sometimes-of course some days are better than others.

I’m no expert on insurance matters but I’m curious if you could just time your visits to be spread over two years there by reducing your costs. For example time the first 25 visits for the end of your insurance year and then the next 25 visits for the start of your next insurance year. Again I don’t know if that is possible or not but if it is it could help you out.

    Moles

A papa mole, a mama mole, and a baby mole,

all live together in a little mole hole.

One day, papa mole sticks his head

out of the hole, sniffs the air and said,

‘ Yum! I smell maple syrup!’

The mama mole sticks her head out of the hole,

sniffs the air and said, ‘Oh, Yum! I smell honey!’

Now baby mole is trying to stick his head

out of the hole to sniff the air, but can’t

because the bigger moles are in the way.

This makes him whine, ‘Geez, all I can smell is…..

    MOLASSES!

Peacock Lap and Hatching Emperor for me. Seen a few pass by on e-bay but they are never mint with tag and box. Wouldn’t mind a Peacock Secret Keeper either if one ever pops up for a resonable price.

I am willing to take several smaller pieces in trade. Just a thought… πŸ˜€

That’s the only way I’d ever get an SK too. I can’t see myself dropping 900 on one statue, but I can drop a few hundred on a few statues and then trade those statues for the big one ^^

I don’t want a white SK though πŸ˜€ I want a colorful one! (haven’t decided which color yet)

Peacock for me would be nice.

While I think it’s kind of rude to arbatrarly just “delete peoples profiles” if they haven’t used them, I do feel many people have just made acconts to basically just enter raffles and things of that nature. I do believe you can “lurk” without being a member can’t you? Also, if you want to buy from the store that’s also something entirely different and you need to create a seperate account for the forum.

Anyway, I’m all for cleaning house if people don’t want to participate, but still reap all the benefits. Maybe I’m being rude, but it’s also kind of inconsiderate for people to create profiles (sometimes multiple profiles) just to get something for nothing while many of us here log on monthly, weekly, even daily and activly partipate in the forum news, events, and charities we have here.

I’m not saying everoyne who has zero posts is trying to win stuff, but it seems like we hit a spike in new *ghost* memebers ever since raffles started….just saying is all.

Interesting discussion going on here. I guess I would qualify as a lurker as I seldom post. I do however read the forums almost every day, usually multiple times in a day. As a collector I’m mostly in the flea market forums. I can understand how some long time members feel when they see all the newbies signing up for a chance at the raffles, that is frustrating. I’ve been a member for I believe just over a year in which time I’ve only entered two raffles which were of interest to me. I don’t know how you can distinguish who is a valued forum member just by post count though so it would be awkward to just start deleting people from the forums.

    Subject: The Fishing Trip

Dave and his buddies were hanging out and planning an upcoming fishing trip. Unfortunately, he had to tell them that he couldn’t go this time because his wife wouldn’t let him. After a lot of teasing and name calling, Dave headed home frustrated.

The following week when Dave’s buddies arrived at the lake to set up camp, they were shocked to see Dave. He was already sitting at the campground with a cold beer, swag rolled out, fishing rod in hand, and a camp fire glowing.

“How did you talk your missus into letting you go Dave?”

“I didn’t have to,” Dave replied.
Yesterday, when I left work , I went home and slumped down in my chair with a beer to drown my sorrows because I couldn’t go fishing. Then the ol’ lady Snuck up behind me and covered my eyes and said, ‘Surprise’.”

“When I peeled her hands back, she was standing there in a beautiful see through negligee and she said, ‘ Carry me into the bedroom, tie me to the bed and you can do whatever you want’…..

    So, Here I am!”

Thought I’d bump this thread in case tc_cat333 happens to wander by.

I so wanted to win Blackwatch. I still miss not winning him. I’m partial to the dragon sculpts so if Melody is inclined to keep the raffle going I would love to see another dragon. πŸ™‚

Not sure if it’s just me having trouble contacting tc_cat333 through PM or are others as well? Just busy maybe? I don’t want to be a bother but when it comes to purchasing Windstones I get a little antsy. πŸ™‚
