mine is super violet too griffiness! the same person must have painted ours! mine has great black antiquing too, which melody said they weren’t really supposed to have, lol. it sounded like that was one of the delineating factors between the two colors. fine with me over here though! 8)

thats a link to astral castles gold dragon page. the sitting is at the bottom all the way, and the riser is lower midway i think. 🙂 i’m lovin that sitter with all the brown!! yippee!well, i talked more with the person and they sent me the fake offer, very sneaky one it was and i forwarded it to ebay and they are looking into it. people are such jerks really! it is just so upsetting that there are people out there that happily scam others and take their money, while frogging sellers’ reputations. its doubly bad! everyone (myself included) work soooo hard for their money these days and its such a sin to rob someone of that hard earned money! i kill myself at my day job and heck i get upset if i get a bad dinner out – i think “dang i worked X amount of hours for the money for that meal and it sucked!”, let alone big windstone money being lost on scammers!! ack!
my god maebnus, i am so sorry you got gotten too! i am so embarrassed! 😳 hopefully you got it all sorted out and didn’t lose your $$!!! i’m sorry! at least we forum folks now know its going on as of late and what to watch out for- don’t trust any offers unless they are also in your ebay mailbox or waiting to be purchased on your “my ebay” page!! this creeps’ email on the offer was Best.Sales.Man@hotmail.com but for god sakes noone email him in case he can get info from you that way. you never know! just watch out for the email/name if you get any offers anybody!!ack! i just got an email from a past bidder saying that they received a second chance offer from me that i never sent! oh my god! scammer alert!!!!! what do i do?! tell her to forward it to spoof@ebay.com and ebay will take care of it!? this is terrifying, as someone could be thinking they are buying from me but are not then be out 100+ bucks and think i’m a crooked seller!! help! panic! eeeek!

hmm i think thats it… everything else is current… thanks PT!the pic looks almost exactly like my russet/flame, with the difference of the eye/stone color of course. but this will make the folks who missed the original flames happy at least! i look forward to seeing the next batch of violet flames, i hope they are bursting with real purple! i am totally waiting for those guys!
i wonder now, are the fledgies going to be on the reddish side as opposed to violet as well? or did that just happen on the curls? i want a really purple violet flame fledge!! squee!hiiiiiiiiiii!!! happy one year anniversary and fourth of july! i hope y’all are having a good time where ever you all are!! hooray for one year for the forum! everyone here is sooo nice; you can really feel safe here to have conversation and genuinely talk with people! yippee! i may put up some 4th pics later, we have the oldest 4th of july parade in the country go right down our street so i got my dad to take some pics of the horsies for all the horsie folk here!

bah! baloney! YOU do awesome stuff! i love your style! love it! i am very envious of your ability to put colors on freely and to be able to have the paint be visually textural. i am so set in my ways i just can’t allow myself the freedom to do the impressionistic/expressionistic thing! ugh! i just can’t! i want to but i can’t! by nature, i must refine and overwork (to stiffness).. thats me.its as satifying as it is binding and limiting…
i showed my dad your dragons recently and he said “hmmm VERRRRRY IMPRESSIVE! hey, thats pretty good you know!” lol! now this of course coming from him, whose daddys’ pride never lets him like anything but what his little girl makes of course! that is a big deal! huge! he really like your photos too, that you were able to have that great dark moodiness and shadow, without losing a wink of detail or clarity, or have things get muddy! he thought you did a great job, and he is one picky bugger when it comes to photos- he’s a photographer. 🙂
anyhoo, mine actually has no stripes, i ‘d go crazy doing that! i think i tried that on griffin wings once- banding- oh my god it looked soooooo bad! i think even my bf poked fun, and he doesn’t have an artistic bone in his body! lol! i did my same ol’ underlining on the big scales on mine. i’ll have to take a pic in progress. this is a slammin’ color scheme anyhoo, purples, lilacs, pearls etc. i’m surprised we haven’t seen more pieces with it…its about time we start all poppin’ up with em! 🙂gah! i have a dragon almost finished in very similar shades of purples! >.< eep! well, mine does look different, no stripes though. i better hurry and finish mine up- its been sitting on my desk 3/4 done for months!! we be collecting dust over here!
hmmmmmmmmm. but where does this leave the violet flame? the new red flame is still similar to ruby, you know, still red tones with gold tones on the wings,similar essentially, though definitely different. the violet flame is very different from anything else out there and really eyecatching and exciting. i hope it doesn’t get forgotten about! its my favorite color!
shriek! i just got my poad today! oh my gawd its so cute!!!! i love the metallic blue in combination with the butternut!! squeal! yup one must have multiples, no doubt about it! five would be nice as an end total for a clutter, but dang that will be 500 bucks in poads plus shipping! 😯 spendy little things, but very precious, and extra secial with melody painting them… or at least the ones so far!

well, here is my first forum commission i just finished for gryphondreamer! she requested a dragon that embodied the essence of a beautiful sunshiny day, filled with radiant golden light, blue sky and a few happy bob ross clouds…so this was our take on it… pardon these files if they are ginormous- they are the final approval pics…
her blues aren’t quite as dark in person, the first pic is closest to life and all the whites are pearl white, so they are nice n sparkly! we just love her here and she will be missed….she has such a positive, cheery energy. hopefully gryph will like her just as much in person.. shes getting mailed in the morning! 🙂

[/img]awww thanks emerald! i didn’t think anyone would really like him too much honestly. i am really surprised!!! i thought i’d get 60-80 or so bucks for him and that would be that! lol! shows what i know huh? well, i’m glad people like him, that makes me feel all warm n fuzzy! i have a couple of other cool ones in the works if i could just get the time to finish them! >.< time is sooo valuable these days, i just can't get enough on my side!
i do take commissions too, so if you do like a certain theme, sometime when the time is right i can get something done just for you. i just finished a custom dragon which i should post in the pyo section….scuttles off…..
