hi melody! i have a fast question for you.. i think i know the answer but i figured i’d ask just in case.. i recently got a male pegasus and under his wings where they meet the is either a number 1 or a letter z scribed into the gypsum. i remember from a bit ago that the flions had numbers too and that the number represents the mold number that the piece came from.

here you go! what do ya think? also, has anyone else found numbers under the wings on your peggies?[/img]oooh wow poor you! well, i have had lots of experience with this kind of thing!! my dogs, papillons, have some real allergy issues and the have reacted in a similar manner. two are allergic to their vaccinations( rabies and 5 in 1 booster) and they react anywhere from immediately after to 8 hours later with skin redness facial swelling, fever, glassy eyes ,etc. i now have to get them cortisone shots and benedryl before vaccinating and afterwards to keeps the reaction from getting dangerous. another pap of mine can handle her shots, but she is allergic to some bug bites, she had instant face swelling when bitten on the lip by a bug.
it is a horrifying thing as it looks horrible and your pet CAN die from it if you don’t act quickly… their throats will swell shut and the will suffocate. what saved me? benedryl! it is a must to have in the house when you have dogs, just in case something odd like that happens. in most cases a good dose of benedryl as soon as you notice swelling will either totally stop or hold off he reaction til you can race to the vet. it was a true lifesaver for me having it in the house, for sure my dogs would have died from their vaccines if i didn’t have it. the first time it happened it was midnight on a sunday and the 24 hour vet is an hour+ away… they started to choke and gasp and have labored breathing 7 minutes after i first noticed they started to swell! they never would have made it even half way to the vet. i recommend using the liquid benedryl as that is easier to get down a swelling throat than the pill type, especially if you have to cut the pill to give the right dose! a large dog you could give a pill to though so the don’t need syringes full of liquid! the magic doseage i believe is 1 mg of diphenhydramine ( benedryls active ingredient) to 1 pound of dog. so, a 12.5 mg dose ( the standard one teaspoon) would do about 12 pound dog. hope that helps and you are not alone! definitely keep some benedryl around the house in case it happens again unless your vet recommends otherwise. 🙂 i hope she is all back to normal soon! she should be!emerald212 wrote:WolfenMachine wrote:

righto emerald. i wish i still had them all too. actually, there is one shade missing from the conga line: the newer ruby. my ruby was the initial shade, the raspberry/cranberry color, as opposed to the candy apple ruby, so if i had him then the line would be complete.
as for the pieces that are rehomed, darkladyphoenix has the dark peacock, and rusti will be taking home the dark emerald/true jade soon i think. i have kept the ruby, regular emerald and and bright peacock. i wish i kept the dark peacock though, god it was so dark it was almost black and it was awesome! >.< but i needed the $ for the bills!that sounds good, hopefully they will be embarrassed and give you an appropriate refund! its only fair if they are deceptive about the condition!. good luck!! i got a bad emerald young like that a couple months ago, chips bad repairs and all, but the seller was like” i didn’t see it so i’m not responsible”- blah!
i just got nailed myself- i got a second chance offer for the griffin gargoyle and took it. she arrived yesterday and both of her wings broke off, the guy didn’t double box like i told him to. he wrapped her with one piece of bubble wrap and put her in a box a hair bigger than she was with a few packing peanuts. she punctured the box with her wings. i emailed him wanting to know his thoughts and reminded him i told him to double box and he didn’t. i have yet to hear from him, but in the auction he stated he wasn’t responsible for damaged items, but how can you NOT be when you pack stuff like a momo? it wouldn’t have broken if you packed it right! hmm. i’m at a loss of how to leave feedback too. i guess it will be on if he will give a partial refund. i hoping for one but we’ll see.yup, mine looks exactly the same too. very yellow chest, know what it makes me think of?! metallic fancy velveeta cheese! lol, i’m sorry but it does!! tee hee. he is still very pretty though, i just have him turned so i see slightly more of his lovely purple back.
fourthed?! yes, i would totally get the specs in black gold!! i think they would look absolutely awesome in it with their eyes! i’ve been waited patiently and silently over here for them! since black gold is still a pretty current color you could even do them regular production if you wanted to to give the stores a little something new! i know some shop keepers here piped about having a little something new production wise, since there have been so many limiteds lately…squeek! black gold!
well, not to upset the apple cart melody, but i have three pieces with a copyright date on the hangtag that are dated 1999. one is a panther gargoyle, another the male kirin and the other was a hatching empress. i bought the panther in the store myself still sealed in a box, so i know it came on him originally..the tag on the gargoyle was labeled as a gargoyle with the story behind them inside, but my newer ones have a 2000 date. hopefully that helps. 🙂 the pena logo/signature on the front was silvery instead of golden too.
wow! look at all that purple and dusty purple at that! wow! he wears it well though! it looks good on him. he looks so shiny and that really helps to kick him up a notch! i love it when they are really glossy, they look so edible! yum!

nam, i do believe this shows the difference in fledge color that koishii was refering to….. i have noticed too that there are two different color phases of fledge, yet both are still the “new” peacock, unlike the mom, male, emp and hatching. look at keschetes’ peacock fledge real close.. see how hers has an all purple chest whereas koishiis has almost none and its the juicy blue /green instead? that’s the difference. i have a blue/green chested one too and i’m quite proud of it, lol. i love all that green/blue! squee! all mine has for purple on the chest is a thin stripe of deep purple down the very center scales.some people ( i think someone on the forum even) have really purple chested ones to where its almost dusty grape like on the hatching emp. >.<
yes, his right cheek looks wierd, like it got painted over kinda messily with the wrong color brown. i was wondering about that too. hmmmmmm. i do see that stuff on the beak and it almost looks like that his wing has a crack, but it just made be an illusion of how the feather edges line up….
oh arlla i LOVE your work!!! ( crazy teenage girl popstar fan shriek… followed by smitten sigh) i love it! i love your style! everything! this one is wicked cute and in nice n easy muted tones… i like how you stayed true to the tabby theme and gave the griff the tabby headstripes… so cute!
i still can’t get over the tiger one you did for yourself though, phew that goes down in pyo history in my book as a real best ever! 😯i know you did, thanks GB! lol! 😆 i have new one in black and green that will be done in a couple of days, so i’ll have to get those pics up somewhere one he’s done…
i loooooooooooove how you integrate the white spots… they blend so naturally fur wise at the edges and so they are so clean! oh i love them, honestly i could stare at the edges all day and drool!!
