I’ve bought a display cabinet (or curio I think it is over in the US) for my Windstones but it is quite dark inside even with glass sides and a mirrored back. I don’t want to keep them in the dark as that isn’t showing off their best sides! 😀 (The male dragon and griffin in particular are suffering from bruised egos there in the dark! 😆 )
I was wondering if anyone has had this problem and thought about/has installed LED lights/down lights in the cabinet. Is there any type of lights that work best? I have a red fire lap dragon and a ruby mother dragon in there. Will the lights act like sunlight and fade them?
I do feel bad posting this considering what has happened to Griffinlover’s poor Windstones because of a cabinet. I don’t mean any disrespect by this post and I truly hope you can fix your babies. I am a little scared about my own cabinet now, and I won’t put more than 2 mid sized pieces on a shelf. 😮

I second what others have said, they need to go to the Windstone doctors! I’m sure they can be saved. Thank god the beautiful Labradorite Griffin and your other special pieces weren’t damaged.
Foxfeather, I am wishing a whole lot of luck your way! I’m sorry to hear of your situation and I hope you get a lucky break! Best wishes my friend!
The stripy wing female is, but I’m after the plain brown to match my male. Susie said they will be in store in a little while. My male needs his mate! 🙂
Hehe I think the lap dragon looks beautiful anywhere she is! I can’t stop looking at her *have to pull my eyeballs away…*
I have to agree with you about Melody! Sending the poads was very sweet! 🙂
oooo thank you Susie! I need the brown female to complete my brown family! Can you please let us know when she is in store? Thanks! 🙂
I’m so excited! I finally got my Copper-lilac Goof up lap dragon! She is so beautiful and I just love her colours. I was lucky to win her as the seller didn’t ship to Australia, so a huge thank you to WolfenMachine for letting me ship it to her so she could send her to me! She is probably the only signed piece I will ever be able to afford, but I have her and I’m so happy! :shout:
I recently got an emerald sun dragon too! He is much bigger then I thought! The tip of his left horn was bent a little by the packaging (he was packed tightly and double boxed), but I think it gives him a little bit more character! He is so bright!
I also got 4 little griffin chicks. The two wolf chicks to match my wolf female and the two browns to match my brown male. Thank you to Azurielle for the browns and the wolf croucher! They are my first griffin chicks and they are sooo cute!

oooo, my wallet hurts…. 🙄
Aww, they are so cute!
What a lovely thing to do Melody!
Your friend should be proud of herself. That dragon is beautiful! I do say, I love that large siamese flapcat. I would love to get one of those one day! Your siamese collection is wonderful.
I think you’ll find that the bit of the broken horn is taped to the back of the emperor’s neck if you look at the main pic closely. That will be a relatively easy fix I think. The tail is whole but with dings and missing paint. He is definately worth getting fixed as his damage is not too bad. Good luck!

Merry Christmas to everyone at Windstone and on the forum! 🙂
ooooo he is really nice! I love the bright colours…..hmmm, I wonder why my hubby is rolling his eyes at me…. 😀
Congratulations Jellyfish! It is a thrilling feeling when you get the piece you’re after. And a SK!!!! I’m sure you will be overcome by her magnificence! 😀
Congratulations on you red fire emperor! They look fantastic. I got mine about a month ago and he is so vivid in colour! Here are some images for you – these were taken this week (by the way, this is the only time he will ever be in the sun).
