for a SILVER Hatching Empress! 😀
My Brown is mint and has her tag and box, and I would want the same. She is signed by Melody and has her COA.
Please PM me if you are interested in trading or have a Silver Empress you want to sell. squeek* squeek*
I like the red one, and those red horns are a great finishing touch. 8)
Wow! I just saw it, and it was already sold out. I never pay any attention to the stone-color pieces, but he is gorgeous with his new feathers. 😀 I hope Windstone ends up offering more pieces in colors. The Trio of Dragons and this piece are both winners. 😀 Anyone know how many there were?
My first thought was of Christmas. 😀 Those green eyes are striking with your color scheme, and the red you used really catches my eye. It is such a beautiful shade, and so vibrant. Very, very pretty. 😀

Ditto!
I vote for one per person also. I can’t paint, so I would have someone else do one for me. That makes two people happy. 😀

Well, I got a good look at the phoenix master tonight and the crest IS NOT the same as the ebay one! It’s a lot like the original crest, but fatter, and it runs into the back of the neck so there isn’t any gap. I think it looks very lovely! That sounds good! 🙂 Are we going to get a sneak peak? squeek* squeek*
Melody wrote:Each of the three phoenixes I have painted so far are out of the first original mold. This version had a socket on its head where I planned to glue a pewter crest into. I decided with all our other problems, we couldn’t deal with casting a crest and gluing it on, so I changed the sculpture to have a cast-on crest. The three prototypes I have painted each have slightly different crests because they were hand sculpted out of epoxy clay.
Three? Has a picture of the third been posted anywhere yet? I have only seen the gray and the one that just sold on eBay.
The colors on the eBay Phoenix are stunning 😀 …. but I definitely like the way the crest was done on the gray Phoenix better. Much, much better. 😮 Puleaze ……. do the production PYO with the first crest. squeek* squeek* squeek*
There are two Males and about seven Mothers right now.

Even gave me permission to go up to $600, but I just couldn’t justify putting that much in when I was the high bidder in the last 30 minutes with $375 for my max. Everything was great up until the last 10 seconds when the price jumped too high, too fast for me to get a higher bid in.
Oh, I am so sorry about the divorce. That is such a rough thing to go through. 😥
I hope things will be brighter for you soon, and you know you will have lots of support here.
I like that little white spot by the horn. It’s nice to see something different from the white line I usually see running the full length of the muzzle. Very pretty. 😀
I really like the first two OWs. The second one looks like a match for my Pearly Pink Lap. I never liked anything pink before I saw her, but she is beautiful. 😀 Red eyes are usually my choice for just about everything, but I don’t like them on these OWs. They look rather harsh. 🙁 I do like the eyes on the first two.

The pebble cat is so cute irl. The lack of a pad kinda disturbs me, though…I think I will get him a piece of felt to sit on.
Ohh, I like that little Mouse Wizard. 🙂
The Pebble Cat doesn’t have a pad? 😮 Do any of the small cats like that have pads? Puffin? Tiger? 😕
Zephyr wrote:I lot of people are crazy for dragoncats as well, I wonder if Melody has ever considered designing and sculpting one? You know, a hybrid with horns and either fur or scales. (It wouldn’t resemble a bat-winged Flap Cat or Gargoyle)

OMG! That dragoncat is absolutely stunning!
There are four left.
