That Tuxedo Male is pretty; I don’t remember ever seeing that one. 8)
I certainly remember the Pink Pearl being offered; she’s a beauty. If I didn’t already have a Pink Lap, I would love your Pink Pearl. I don’t remember these light colored OWs either; that was probably when I wasn’t as interested in lighter colors. What was the “goof-up” part for them?

Thanks for the eye size, Pam. 😀 And thanks to Pipsxlch, I don’t have to make any permanent eye changes; the tacky idea is perfect for me. I also have a PYO Keeper with orange eyes that I want to change, but I can’t decide which color to get. Tacky to the rescue; I can try several colors now until I find a match. I foresee ending up with extra eyes of course, but I can always opt for a little variety by using them to rotate the eyes on the pieces with tacky in them. 😀

Jennifer: I am not worried about reselling because these are pieces that I commissioned or had repainted for various reasons for myself. They’re not going anywhere; they are mine, mine, mine. 😀
Pipsxlch: That is a great idea; Koishii did that PYO for me, 😀 but I still didn’t think of using tacky for any future eye changes. 😳 With tacky I can get a few colors and actually see which looks best, as opposed to holding them in front of the in-place eyes, trying to decide, sending them off to be inserted, and then thinking I should have picked the other color.
As for my Amethyst Fledgling, I never look at him without thinking how much I love that color but hate those orange eyes; he was about to be eBayed. If I can find eyes I like, they will be changed, and I will be keeping him. If not, he can still be eBayed. 🙂
Thank you both for the info on the Male Griffin. 😀 It looks like 11mm is a popular size, which makes it easier to switch them between the Lap, the Keeper and the Griffin; but those Fledgling eyes definitely look smaller to me. I love the color of my Amethyst Fledgling, but do I hate those orange eyes! I want to order some of those wild eye colors from Amanda at dreamingtreestudio.com in the hopes of finding the eye color, but she doesn’t know the size for the Fledglings either. 🙁
I got the Crimson Sapphire Keeper, and he is sooo beautiful. He definitely is #1 on my Favorite Keeper list now. 😀 I was just trying to get pictures of him, and he is a stinker to photograph; no matter what I try, the colors don’t look right. 🙁
And those eyes are perfect. I liked them in the pictures, but I love them in person. The eyes do photograph well; they really do look like they are glowing. 😀
I know the Keepers and Laps take 11 mm eyes. Does anyone know the size for the production Male Griffin (not the PYO Griffin) and for the Fledgling? I have had a few guesses, but nothing “positively for sure.” 😕

Really, I found it really gorgeous and a color I really can “see” a dragon being in ‘real life’. 🙂
I suspect it is one of those colors that would only look good on a dragon with lots of wing space, but I could try it on a larger dragon and see how it looks. Might look really boring!I won the Dark Copper Male Griffin, and he is gorgeous. He shows up beautifully under my rather poor lighting, and very few colors do. The coppery color really picks up the light, and he almost glows. I am not into the Curled or Coiled Dragons, but I would love to see a Fledgling in that same wonderful copper shade. 😀
I just got a message today from service@PayPal saying “Your package is on its way” with a Priority Mail tracking number. 😀
I use the tracking number shown on an item listed in the “Won” section of My eBay for UPS shipping. If I am getting an item with a choice of eyes, it always takes longer before it is shipped, so the tracking number doesn’t show up for about a week. This is the only way I have gotten the tracking info for UPS; I don’t recall getting the same PayPal notifications when using UPS as I do for Priority Mail.

Koi is way too modest. I made it even tougher for her than “main colors to use”. It was actually a request to use only lighter and darker shades of red and purple, no other colors at all. I don’t paint, but even I knew that would be difficult. 😳She gave me exactly what I wanted; in fact the only thing we changed was the color of the horns. 😀 And I love those slitted eyes; I’m ordering more colors so I can have the eyes swapped on some of my other pieces too.
