0 feedback doesn’t mean what it use to. Ebay keeps changing rules and regulations, constantly. So, if you haven’t used your account in over 6-12 months (hey, not all of us are into ebay, or not as much as we use to be at least), the latest rule has ebay dropping your score (ours was a perfect 100%) to zero. A while ago they had done that with the transactions number (the buys or sales that decide what colour star you are). Had you been inactive for a while, they dropped you to zero. However, since, they have reinstated the old number. But now our feedback is zero which means anyone would have to take the time to go into our profile to read about us and decide for themselves. Ebay is a stinker much of the time.

Don’t bother with Avalon in Orlando (Winter Park). Even when they had some, they were the stone pieces and not the coloured ones. And only a couple at that. Welcome to the US and enjoy your stay here! Safe travels to and from!

I don’t know which one is coming to our house yet. But got it for our cousin and she is all about Buckskins. So, assuming this was the only Buckskin-like one, this would have been the one she’d have wanted real bad. We are really hoping she gets one close to Buckskin or Palomino, but like we said, don’t have it yet and are eagerly awaiting. Just really hoping it is not one with a ton of white. The one shown here is simply gorgeous. Would have fallen on the floor had we opened this one up!

We just got ours and yep, it’s just the kind we didn’t want, not that he wouldn’t be perfect for someone else. We don’t even see any imperfection on/in him whatsoever. He is all light cream with soft dark grey in his mane and tail, with some of it on his legs, and black-ish spots on his body (heart on right fore shoulder). Not far different than ones pictured like that in store photo. Hmm, gee, what am I gonna say?! 😳 I think you could get away with a Buckskin Wizard Cat / Cat Wizard or Grimalkin as a Halloween feline! Mmmmm?! Almost orange and black!
I’ll always push that colouring and my cousin (for whom I push this colour scheme for as memorial for her horse) drooled at those on ebay including the ones so close to them (the Prezw ones).

Jealous of everyone that’s enjoying coming into Autumn as FL continues to roast and rot in the 90s *plus* heat index and humidity. Ironically, wish a hurricane or TS would hit just to break the monotony (and bring rain) from the 7th circle of hell-o-heat. I’d kill for the 70s that some think is hot!! That is our nighttime temperature right now but if you add in humidity, dead of night is still in the 80s. I’m from the north so I really, really do miss autumn. It’s just never been the same Halloween, T-giving or even Christmas in this state as it always was up north. *sigh*

Oh Melody and Family, you do have something coming from us in the mail (both post and email; you should have recv’d the email one days ago) but right now we’re going through something and the photo(s) we want to do are not possible – yet. But our condolences are here and in the mail. We will be in this thread again with what we want, as soon as we can. We are ever sorry for your loss. When we suddenly lost someone we loved very much to one of the most outrageous circumstances ever, someone told us that, “now there is another Angel to perch upon you, watch over you and hold your hand through tough times, even if not like we knew them before.” Mom/Grams will always be in your hearts and therefore, is never forgotten, will always be loved and remembered … and live on.
To all of the Family, we wish you peace, comfort, warmth of heart, love and sympathy.

• Yes, Halloween Flap Cats (small mostly because it’s all I can afford) because not all black and white cats have white blazed faces even if they have white chests and toes! Black face with white chin into chest would be nice … hehe. Straw eyes! We have another cat too and if you’ve perfected how you like your Slate Unicorns, please use that solid colouration for the Flaps so our other cat can be represented!

• PYO Flap Cats is an awesome idea and one I back!
• More very different coloured (from what’s been produced already) new store Curls (get a tiger version in there if you can)!

Back in 2007, my cousin did a PYO dragon she named “Amethyst Ice” (this was well before the silver or amethysts came out). He is a sharp steel silver gray with lavender eyes, wings antiqued with a shade of amethyst and the scales antiqued with a darker steel. She has a piece of actual amethyst in the curl of her tail and a gold forehead jewel to match her gold claws. She had every intention of selling this piece before she even received it to paint but when it had arrived, one of its horns was broken. It was an easy glue back together and her painting appears to cover the seam very well. Mind you, neither of us are actual artists like some of you here but I think she did a good job on her Amethyst Ice.
Personally, I’d like to see some dragons with green eyes. IMO, we have enough blue eyes (all around, not just dragon sculpts) as well as enough red eyes. So, some straw and especially some green eyes would be hot (not dark green though but not too pale … a nice medium green, yet not olive either … no, I’m not picky! 😳 ).
As usual, always in favour with much squeakage for new store Curls, Small Flaps (def squeek* for a Batwing calico to be companion to the birdwing) as well as Coiled Mothers! And then of course, my signature says it all … BUCKSKIN HOOFERS!!!

Oh, it was a batch thing! That makes sense. So I guess I at least know that mine was not from the first batch if the first batch eye was straw and others that followed were medium blue (since mine has as blue eye). Hmm, bummer. Wish I could switch it out for straw since that contrast is way cooler.
And Pam, thanks for clearing up the colouring differences. Monitor shows them looking super similar however, I have to admit that when I did see Glacier on screen, it certainly put me in mind of the arctic and what an iceberg looks like just as it descends below waters surface. Hopefully when he arrives in person, he won’t look too much like his Blue Pearl brother. The display is done in alphabetical order (long story) so they will not be next to each other. But I remember when Opopanax got here, everyone was like “why do you have 2 of the same dragon?” referring to the BG. They are not collectors and didn’t notice the subtle differences like eye colour (which is a huge diff imo), nor did they pay attention to the slight differences on scales. They just saw lots of black and gold on both. Hopefully Glacier will (oh gosh, pun…) blow them out of the water 🙂
For our collection anyway, we have and will continue to get every single store curl. Some wild and stand out colours would be awesome though, like when the Amy and the AL came out. You can’t confuse them with anything else. Not a fan of bright yellow but certainly awaiting a Sunburst like style yellow & orange curl as something different and of course, a buckskin one as well as a tiger version if possible and a Mardi Gras inspired colour scheme too (I know … blending is a bee-otch for that scheme).

In the description of the Blue Pearl Curled dragon, it says it has a straw coloured eye and gold jewel. However, my Blue Pearl curl has a medium blue eye and pale blue jewel. I only came to notice this difference now because I was closely comparing just how similar the new Glacier curl is to the previous Blue Pearl. Anyone else that got a Blue Pearl, what colour eye does yours have, or better put, did anyone else wind up in my situation? I feel like the Blue Pearl and the Glacier (got it anyway because this is one of the sculpts we intend on having every store colour in; same with small flaps) are very similar just as I have thought the BG and Opopanax curls were very similar too.
But specifically, was my Blue Pearl differences a mistake? Is it a good mistake like the accidental jade pieces that are out there? Or is it a bad mistake (not that any WE “mistake” could actually be bad but you know what I mean). Being that the similar new Glacier one will have a blue eye, I’m kinda wishing my Blue Pearl had the straw coloured eye of the photo and description to help differentiate them from each other.

Oh geez, I read a different post first and maybe worded things backwards. But now reading this, I’m saddened. I’m so sorry for your loss Melody. All of us at home have been praying for you and will continue to do so. Goodness, I’m so sorry.
