A furry convention is full of people running around in costumes, having fun. But it is NOT full of people having sex in the costumes. I just have to say this. It drives me crazy because people think I make my living making perverted sex suits. My suits do not have strategically placed holes! I don’t do that! 99% of furries don’t do that! And why did they have to make the show all about the 1% that do?
This is a really sore spot with me, because stuff like CSI and that MTV show have people who don’t even know me thinking that I’m some kind of nasty person that like bestiality, and I’m not!
Artist’s alley? If you mean the Furry Marketplace, that’s where I’m at too. The tables are cheaper, your traffic past is better, and I don’t find having to pack up at night much of a bother, so I wasn’t even sad to not get a dealer’s room table.

I just bought the hatching empress in peacock from them, so I’ll let you all know how that turns out. It’s not as good as buying from a forum member we can all trust, but this seems like a reputable place.
Yep, guess so! I got my extra table space, so this year you’ll be able to actually see me behind the pile of tails!
Last year I only had a four foot wide half table, so I had my stuff heaped so high I felt lost behind it.

NO, not like that! CSI doesn’t even try to be realistic they’re just after sensational freaks. *mutters* Drives me crazy. Why do people believe what they see ON TV, On a FICTIONAL show on TV?!!
Ahem. Pardon the rant there. That just annoys the heck out of me, and then I have to spend an hour trying to explain that no, furries aren’t like that, and I sometimes get the impression that when I’m done they still believe the show and not me. *mutters*
Nope. Name shows up as soon as they register, whether they’re approved or not. They’ve got a profile, they’re here. They just can’t DO anything until it’s activated.
I think many of the names you see come and go are actually not people, they are bots. They will never post because their accounts will never be activated.

Heh… I’m hoping that the BF will give me a ring soon. But one shouldn’t pressure somebody over that kind of thing, so I shall wait and see. Probably not this year though.
