A PYO kitsune?
Yes!
Well, a regular production kitsune would be neat too, but I’d prefer a PYO.
*chuckles* Good luck.
My jade is a MESS and not true to the color in that photo, because he’s half stripped down for repainting. (Yes, I’m painting over him. Because he came all broken, and I have wanted a VERY specific oriental dragon coloration for years, so…)
I would love to pick up a mint condition jade myself, I prefer it to the emerald, though the emerald is very pretty.
Unfortunately he already has a new home. I’ll be shipping him out to it quite shortly. I could make you another one, but, er…. they’re not cheap at all.
I’ve finished my very first real animal plush* today! Heee! He came out so well!

http://bladespark.topcities.com/costume/foxplush3.jpgHe’s life size. A bit on the large size for a fox, really, as he’s 36″ if you include the tail. Eyes are glass, I couldn’t find plastic ones large enough with the slit pupil. (If anybody knows of a good source for animal eyes that carries something other than regular round bear eyes, that’d be great!) Anyhow, I made him all by my little self, with no pattern or anything. Though I’ve saved the shapes I came up with, so I can replicate him if I need to.
He was a bit of an experiment, and could probably use a tiny bit of tweaking, but I think he turned out very well, so I’ll now be taking plush commissions now, which I hope will be a fun little sideline to the costume/fursuit thing.
*Loonakits don’t count, really.
It was a basilisk based mostly on the paralysis/turning to stone ability, I believe, rather than appearance, as it just looked like a giant snake, both in the movie and in the book’s description.
It was in the second one. *nodnods* A kinda not-quite-traditional version of one though.
Ooo, that is rather cool looking.
There’s no way in a million years that would run on my computer though.
*chuckles*
Good luck selling them all. It’s sometimes really hard when you’re trying to advertise without being annoying, I’ve found. I wish I could just constantly post about what I’ve got for sale, but I’d just tick off everyone. Especially as I’m not selling Windstones, usually, so it wouldn’t even be on topic, which your little “hints” are. *grins*
Maybe I’m odd, but I don’t think I’d want a PYO poad. I do like the shape of them, but the very best part about them for me is the wonderful patterns that they’re painted with, and I could never duplicate them myself.
O.o
It didn’t do anyting nasty to me, it looks just like an ordinary, if really badly made, website.
Do you use firefox?
Also: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tatzelwurm
http://www.newanimal.org/tatzel.htmThere’s some info about it, without the malware.
Winged foxes would be awesome too. Foxes in generaly are pretty neat to make. Everyone thinks of them as just red, but they come in so many variations. I think I do like the grey foxes best as well. I have a grey fox pelt that’s really neat. Though it’s a bit worse for wear, as my cat is also fond of it, and thinks it makes a great toy.
I would LOVE a foo dog! And a kitsune would be awesome! (I could sell SO MANY of those to fox furries…)
*nods* I’ve posted a link to your ebay auctions page, so that whatever you have for sale at the time is visible, and I spread it around as many places as I could think of. If I knew of more spots to find Wolf’s Rain fans, I’d go post at them too. Maybe I should look up fandom lj communities…
Meoldy has referred to it as jade, but officially there’s no difference between jade and emerald.
(The orientals, for example, are all called “jade” and seem to be a 50/50 if you get actual dark jade, or the lighter emerald color, while the scratchers are all officially “emerald.”)
