Cute!
September 7, 2007 at 5:52 pm in reply to: TF pyos updated:peach dragon+blue/gold dragon pg.4 #614325Ooooh, such pretty dragons! The green is so neat! I have to say I think my favorite is the cloud one, but it’s a tough choice! The red one with grey eyes I like better than the bright yellow eyes, but the eyes change the personality totally! Well done!
I would definitely mention the horse to the SPCA or at least mention what would happen if the SPCA were to know/get involved to the owner. Doesn’t seem right that you’d be paying a negligent owner, but legally (unless the horse were turned over, which, if he is more fed now thanks to someone else caring), it might be harder to get the SPCA to take him. They have to prove a case too and have enough proof to take him.
If you can financially afford and have the space/time to devote to him, (you seem to really want to) I say go for it. Even if you end up finding a home for him later. I know the last two dogs my family has taken in were very unexpected, but one was either take him home or he’d go the shelter and be euthanized and the other just needed a home where he would be loved and given attention (was taken well care of physically, but no attention by the owner – the dog is a love bug!) Haven’t regretted it! I’m sure anything you need to know about horsecare can be learned, and I’m sure the horse will be forgiving. You’d be giving him a better home than he currently has, and perhaps better than he ever has had, depending on his history. Sounds like he’s a real sweetheart!
ARGH! No no no no no! So many things available just before vacation! *cries* Oh well. Good luck Ski! I’m sure they will sell well! 🙂
I really want a brown and a bg coiled mama, but I’m going to have to wait until after I get back from vacation. The only thing that will break that rule is if a green fledge and or curl pops up in the store. Hopefully the brown will be there at the end of Sept. *fingers crossed*

I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they do, because that will keep her affordable for all of us…
🙂The BG coiled mother will be production though, so if they sell out, don’t panic! I’d say get the mother and another smaller one, or go for the BG lap next 🙂 Oh, and welcome!

Plus more I am working on and more photos to add as well:)I am seriously thinking about painting some of the PYO. I used to paint ceramics for a living several years ago. Though getting the paints sent here might be a problem. Also I heard about a larger PYO dragon thats coming. Does anyone have a link to images of it yet?
There are pictures of the larger PYO dragon in Melody’s gallery. It has it’s paw up, like the Secret Keeper, only is smaller. A little smaller than a male dragon. They aren’t available yet, and the jury is still out on whether or not they will indeed be PYO or become a production shape.

I do that too (cutting the pictures off the shipping box from drag0nfeathers)! 😆
Ack! Finally posting. Welcome BRoS! I’m hoping to get up to Iceland in the next year or two. Debating whether to visit during the summer or in time for Þorrablót (Thorrablot) to try all the Icelandic foods (even Hákarl.. I’ll at least try it) that generally aren’t found elsewhere 😛 (it will probably end up being during the summer though). You’re so lucky to have such a small population!
I’d love to see your name written out. Nordic and Teutonic names are fun!
Once again, welcome! 8)
Welcome AutumnHeart! 🙂
Oooh, Finland! Welcome! Pull up a chair, grab a windstone… 😀
Barrdwing wrote:Poor kitten! Quite a surprise, being swung around like that; it’s a good thing Labs tend to be gentle with anything that looks vaguely like a puppy. 🙂
Nope. No labs here. Sam was a Bassett Hound. Hoover vacuums on legs I tell you! Considering the kitten lived to be about 20-22 years old, I’d say he wasn’t too traumatised. Just learned not to get in the dog’s food again 😆
I would love a Green fledge, but I am trying to hold out for when(?) Melody is doing another small batch. I can’t afford to buy one for $200-$300 (I think I remember one selling for around $300).

Yeah, those things are icky and creepy. Don’t worry though. They don’t have any venom or poison. Just pinchers that are dangerous, if you are another, smaller bug :] Brave, hungry little chicks though. What are you planning with them and are you training them to be attack chicks? 😈
Sugar gliders having a party. Nice!
My black, American Cocker Spaniel, Soot, is extremely silent and sneaky. He has been known to steal peanut butter sandwiches, hotdogs from buns, has hopped up into chairs to eat cereal out of bowls (paws on table, while sitting), and he adores eating papertowel and tissues. Quick, sneaky and silent about it. It only takes a second of you turning your head. He has managed to get a good sized steak at one point as well. He is rather spooky though. Plastic bags freak him out.
Our old Bassett, Sam, from when I was really little, used to devour food faster than a hoover vaccuum. No chewing, just inhale. My parents got our old cat, Mittens (this was before I was born), and brought him home (a kitten at the time). He found the dog’s food and started investigating it. Sam came over, kitty’s head was sucked into the Sam’s mouth, and the kitten was swung from one side and then tossed to the other across the room. Kitty scurried and disappeared for a day. The one and only time they had a disagreement.
Happy b-day Cherylkaufman!
