What makes this a pinto?
And this a paint?
<img src="http://img848.imageshack.us/img848/5870/displayangledimg0440.jpg"Paints are a breed and a color. Pinto’s are a color only. I have 2 breeding stock (no color) paints. If I were to breed them there is a chance they could through a colored baby. Both of THEIR parents were regestered Paint they have no color that’s were the breeding stock comes from. So a paint is a color and a breed.
Appy’s are the same. Color and breed. they can be a breeding stock (no color) Appy’s and Appy’s with color
A Pinto is a color only not a breed. Which means what ever horse you have that meets the requirements of the Pinto registration can become a regestered pinto.
Here’s another one for ya’ll. There is a Blue Eyed registation for horses.
These two pic’s that are up you would have to know what breed they were to call them PINTO”S OR PAINT’SSo I hope that helps some what PM me if you have any other questions about this. I don’t mind at all.

I am SO sorry to hear about you baby. I had to put one of my horses down last year and a piece of me died with her. Just always know he will always be with you in sprit and always at you feet on his back.
