Once upon a time Melody said they would not make PYO Poads. The majority of Poads have been painted by Melody. I can think of only a handful that someone else painted. She has a very special relationship with the poad.
You’re right. Poads are Melodys special creation. Unique to her.

Which got me thinking about colours.
Which led to imagining how cute a tanzanite mouse would be.
Thanks.Life is beautiful.

(part 2) #1631154I know this probably isn’t feasible but I would love to see Mouse Wizards painted as the old fashioned Santa’s. I’ve seen old fashioned Santas in red robes, blue robes, white robes or silver robes, even a few rustic ones in brown robes. I think they would be an adorable GB for Christmas.
On the more feasible front I think the pebble Wolves painted in icy blues and silvers with Christmas type silhouettes on them would be gorgeous!
Oohhh I’d love the Christmas mice.
I’d also like to see small and mouse wizards painted the same as the large wizards.

not sure if this would be anyone’s grail but Lilac Gold Nettuce Poad was recently put up on Ebay…..

I know that this has been asked in the past, and the answer was “No”.

October 25, 2020 at 6:07 am in reply to: Pumpkin Spice & Autumn Leaf 10/19/20 Show Off Thread #1630443Where is her ear chipped? Is it the white dot on the right ear? I thought it was a reflection.
Love the narrative about your beautiful kitty Phoenix!
Yeah, that’s where it is. It’s chipped down to the gypsum and needs to be rebuilt. Inside her box, her ear tip had poked a hole in the finish protector plastic sleeve she was packed with. So she probably looked fine while being wrapped but sometime between going in her box, and arriving to me her ear wore down a little. I can fix a little paint loss, but I don’t have the ability or products to build the ear tip back up before it’s painted. You don’t see it much from the front, but it’s visible from the back
I’m pretty sure you can ship her back to the store and they’ll fix her. Ask Susie.

I would, but I have one already.

Also, Halloween lady cats.

Answering Scathach who said, “I know several people who were very early backers and didn’t get any of their choices.”
That’s why I was thinking backer numbers for this. It seems as though there should be SOME reward for quickly backing the Kickstarter.
Susie (or somebody) could send emails to people in order of backer number – send email, get response, send next email. The biggest problem I see would be slow responses to the emails.
That’s why I’m thinking setting a time limit to respond.

Susie and I are trying to decide how to do this… we don’t want a chaotic feeding frenzy that makes people stress out… any ideas about how we should do this?
Backer number doesn’t seem to have worked well for many people throughout KS. I know several people who were very early backers and didn’t get any of their choices.
It’s a hard call, for sure, but for me (and a few others) a grab bag puts me out completely. There’s only 2 I really want and I’m not going to this price point to get something I’m not guaranteed to get.
Maybe a lotto for picking order? And no one gets to have more than one until everyone who wants another has had a chance to claim one.
Or, have it like the KS poads. Send an email blast of the pictures to all backers at the same and give them a timed deadline to get back to Susie with ONE dragon number (or top two choices). They get ONE per backer number. ONLY. Then, if there are any left, do it again (just like poads) then put the remaining ones in the store or eBay.

I think it would be a great idea if they just did a Grab Bag for all the leftover Bantam Clones (whenever that day comes). I’d be happy with any of them! Don’t want to go thru any more stress of trying to pick a particular one out! LOL
Theres only one I want if theres leftovers so grab bag not a good idea for me
I’m with you, Yolanda
