I like the water horse, especially the bridle being laced into the paper. How does that work?
I cut small slits through the paper where the bridle goes around the horse’s head and fed the lace through there. There’s tape all over the back to prevent the paper (even though it’s heavy and quite sturdy) from tearing any further.

Read up! 🙂
Three new silkscreen print editions!
(shameless part: also available for purchase, see the link below each image!)
In a couple of weeks I should have the things I need to do t-shirts, so, something to think about.
Depends on whether you want a tourist trap or a hike. Which side of the state are you visiting? The Eastern side has mountains and parks to visit.
Memphis has the river, Nashville also has a ginormous mall where Opryland used to be.
But yes, if you’re looking strictly for city-type attractions, there’s not much. If you’re looking for the mountains, the Cherokee reservations, the Appalachian Trail, Clingman’s dome, streams to visit, etc. there’s a whole world.
Make sure that you are treating your entire house! Frontline and Advantage will kill the fleas that get onto the pet, but does nothing for the ones in the carpet, which are probably one ones reinfesting your kitty.
Vacuum thoroughly. In corners, under things, couches and chairs where kitty sleeps, etc. Wash (and dry!! Drying in the dryer is important here!) all bedding. Kitty’s bedding, your bedding, blankets, etc. that kitty may have come into contact with.
Treat your house. Call an exterminator, or Frontline comes in a spray bottle that you can use as a house treatment. It’s healthier than flea bombs, and you don’t have to leave the house while you use it. It might be a little more expensive, but it’s worth it.
Make sure Kitty is not getting a bath 48 hours before or 48 hours after an application of Frontline or Advantage. The skin and hair needs time to dry and replenish the oils that spot on products use to spread over the skin.
For a quick, better-than-a-dip treatment for adult fleas, ask your vet for a six day course of Capstar (6 pills). One pill, once a day, will kill all adult fleas on kitty. It starts to work within 30 minutes.
Make sure you’re getting Frontline Plus (Topspot has been shown to have some resistant fleas). As a last ditch effort, Revolution is another alternative, and so is Sentinel or Program. Sentinel is Interceptor (a heartworm preventative) and Program in one tablet. It *does* have a feline dose!
You still have several options left, but do make certain you have thoroughly treated your house, or you will continue to have problems.

I paid around $160 for mine last year. He had some minor flaws since he must’ve been sitting in the local store he was at for a while. (Two or three chipped claws, flaking paint.) Thanks to epoxy putty, DecoArt paint pens, and replacement paint Frank is getting close to looking just like new.
I got mine off of ebay and other than some paint rubs on his claws and a tiny fleabite on his tail, he’s actually in fantastic condition. No chips cracks or anything like that. A Decopen took care of the claw rubs and the fleabite is so small I haven’t bothered to do anything with it at this point.

It seems several people don’t like the anthropomorphic wolf. Why is that? I’m curious. 🙂
Just saw that wolf today. It’d be awesome to have that as a PYO, but I’d get it as production too.
Sounds cool. So long as I manage to get one. 🙂
Oscar the death predicting cat.
Creepy.
I can see why families would be grateful that they had the time to come in and say good bye.
But holy moses, I wouldn’t want that cat in my lap…
Everyone else is getting their sitting spectrals and other odds and ends, when are those of us eagerly awaiting our special end-of-run Oriental Sun going to get ours?
(Yes, this is officially my squeak.)
Well, I’m not sure if this goes in the Flea Market, or here, but, since it’s art, I’ll put it here.
I’m going to redo prints of this fellow: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v488/rusti_knight/?action=view¤t=blakshuk.jpg
((yes, it’s a crappy photo of one of my original reject prints on really bad paper. Which is why they’re getting redone. We were forced to buy the yellowish drawing paper because the Stonehenge had not come in))…Probably this weekend, and make a t-shirt or two with him down in the corner, grinning out. I really cannot guarantee how he would look on black, but he’d show up in gray or white for sure. But if anyone wants one, since I’m going to have the stencils out anyway, I’ll do ya for $10 for each shirt. The ink will be a little bit stiff because it is not fabric ink, but I’ll hunt down an iron and an ironing board to heat set it for you. it ought to loosen up after a wash.
$10 per shirt plus a couple for shipping first class. Let me know by Thursday.
Breast reduction. That’s all I want. The rest I can live with. Cuddly curves and all.

Starscream and Barricade living is a hint at the original Transformers movie. If you ever followed the original Transformers, you know what is the come and why those two survived 😉
*bit spoilery for the original, animated movie*
I think Barricade is a movie original Decepticon. He was never featured in the cartoon. Or at least, not the Generation 1 cartoon. And Starscream died in that movie.
I love G1, but part of the reason I adore this movie is because it *ISN’T* the original cartoon. I doubt we have any idea what’s going to happen next save for Screamer coming back with reinforcements.
Geez, whatever happened to just catching the chicken pox and getting it over with?
My entire second grade class went down with it. On any given day for about a month or so there were only about ten or fifteen kids in a 30 kid class. There were chicken pox parties and everything.
We had a little fever, bathed in calamine lotion and recovered. I only remember being miserable for a day or so, and after that just itchy.
Not criticizing, this is just how I would do it, but if I had a kid, chicken pox would not be on my list of vaccines. MMR, T/D and the rest of the usual childhood run, yes, but not chicken pox. That’s just part of growing up.
I’ve been twice now and I’d really love to go a third time too. I haven’t had that much fun at a movie since I can’t remember…
