Hubby and i did that for the better part of 7 years! Sadly I still sleep better alone, and during the day LOL.

Gage was on Metacam for one surgery and Duramaxx for the second surgery, they just didnt have enough when we had his second knee in stock to send home with us, and we live 5 hours away form the clinic so he got Duramaxx, thankfully he never had problems on either.

SOrry for the tough times Laurie, I found out a few weeks back that a very close family friend had a brain tumour, they have done 2 surgeries and believe it to be resolved now, but we still have to wait to see. Then 2 weeks ago we found out that my husbands aunt has been given 3 months to live due to colon cancer, that it turns out she has been battling for like 4 years. (((hugs)))

As for your pup with the ACL, i had 2 TPLO surgeries done on Gage and am very happy with the results, but had he only torn one at a time, not both I would have looked at this http://tiggerpoz.com/id3.html i have a friend who did this with her German Shepherd 2 years ago and she is about 80% now. Luna runs and plays with the other dogs, they mostly have to be careful with letting her run and play if the ground is slippery or wet, it might be worth a try before stressing about the money for the surgery.

A friend of mine that successfully bred several different kinds of fish from killies to discus would often move the parents to the secondary tank rather then stressing the babies out, perhaps try that?

Oh and I know your pain as well when I lost my first Betta batch I was heartbroken as well.

I’m am very glad you like it, and i thought it was funny too :D.

XD Alaskan elephant! If only mammoths were still roaming around here, this place would 25% cooler. (No pun intended!) ^_^
Glad you like everything and it arrived in one piece!!

I LOVE everything, I cant wait to wear the shirt, the people at the Calgary comicon will love it!

This is such a “tragedy”. What an insufficient word for a horrific crime of immeasurable proportions. I do not understand how this keeps happening and nothing is done to change the laws that allow these guns in the hands of mostly anyone who wants one. I know it is not the gun that is the issue but it is the means by which this individual took so many innocent lives in a remarkably short period of time. My heart breaks for the families and as a mother my spirit feels crushed for those mothers and fathers who will never hold their children in their arms or the families of the adults lost who will never again say I Love You to them.

I can’t say anymore….so saddened by the inhumanity in a world of supposed humanity. **Shakes head as tears fall**

All three of those guns were registered, to his mother, but still registered. How does it work in Conn? What does it take to get a riffle/handgun?

This is not a Windstone from way back is it? Looks suspicious to me but leave it up to any of you. I did not see any listing for it but want to ask here about this?

The rest of the conversation proceeds as follows: (This is inevitable and I can take bets on it and win.)

“It doesn’t look like a llama! It looks like a dragon.”

    So….what can I say but….

    “Then why did you ask?”

    hahaha, sarcasm at its finest!

Because the USPS is a bit lame?

    Lol.

Why not? I can track Canada post ones to their destination, I just have to use the USPS site.

Melody has some painted chicken’s feet in her office….

Shudders, and people think I’m wierd for feeding raw ones to my dog!

in reply to: Report Windstone Fakes/Knock offs/Infringment Pls read first #889707

That last one is painted pretty close to Peacock which I believe is copywrited. But do people actually buy painted chicken and turkey feet, WTH?

If it came to Canada it will be a bit longer, it seems everything gets stuck in customs these days, i have bought some stuff from a friend in Spain and it always takes 4-6 WEEKS before i get it, i think customs likes to carry my purses and dog collars around for some reason, LOL.
