Purplecat brought up my avatar, and since I have the OK to post fanart, I decided, hey, why not, I’ll post my silly WALL-E fanart here.

I LOVE THIS MOVIE. There are a few notable exceptions, but most people I know loved it. I’d say these pictures don’t give away anything (the first picture maaaaaaaaaaaybe has something but it’s a small element that won’t give much of anything away out of context.)

Photoshop and OpenCanvas= my love. This is only a few weeks old and I look at it and I feel it’s kind of bad and off model but people seem to REALLY like it anyway.

    Maybe because it’s sap. 😛

I can’t take credit for this idea. Somebody on the LiveJournal community had the idea, but said she didn’t have the artistic skills to pull it off, so I ran with it. I love this one, myself. (The drawings are actually in Prismacolour pencils, but who’s counting?)

    Hopefully better stuffs to come!

Now I want to go dig up my bird books and see what species of kites there are in Missouri…there’s GOT to be kites here…(duh…if there were any the MISSISSIPPI kite would be a good vote for what we would have!)

(Oh: For those of you in different countries not savvy to USA geography: Missouri is on the Mississippi. 😀 )

in reply to: Wild bird people #728033

LOL, okay, I was ever so wrong. X) That happens. I don’t recall if I’ve ever seen a kite in real life, and I tend to know birds most that I uh, have seen in real life. XD

I’m actually a rather good birder. Really. 😳

If you ever see a gal walking around with a camera taking pictures of random things everywhere, it’s probably her. 😉

She takes the coolest photos. D:

EDIT: And yeh, “sparrow hawks” are a common name for American Kestrels.

Hmmm. My old photos are down. Not that I’m that thin anymore…

A few days after my 21st birthday. Yes, for my 21st birthday, in which I became a legal adult, I got a remote control robot toy. BECAUSE I AM AWESOME.

    😛

Photos are too hard to tell, but I’m guessing from the size American Kestrel.

(Hay! My best friend lives in Amarillo, TX! 😀 )

I’m more of a winter olympics person…>.> The summer sports don’t do it for me. Although the gymnastics are always pretty cool.

SPEED SKATING FTW! Man that looks like fun, makes me want to take up skating. X)

Very early happy birthday! DON’T GO PEEKING AT YOUR PRESENTS! D:

Unless they look like they’re in Windstone boxes. Then it’s okay. 😆

This is your birfday song, it isn’t very long!

    X) Kidding. Hope it’s a good one!

in reply to: Jen's Sketches #722948

Okay! Thanks for the clarification, Nam! 😀

Man, it’s been three buisness days since USPS says my sketches arrived in Kansas City. o.O I wonder what they’ve been doing there. (Kansas City= four hour drive from Columbia.)

Don’t mind me, I’m just being driven mad by impatience. XD

My first thought was flying, but then I remembered flying humans looked silly, and if I could shape-shift into other creatures, I could still totally fly.

That, and I was a closet Animorphs fan when I was a kid, so that probably attributes to my choice. X)

EEEEeeee thanks! I luvs him too. I don’t know how kosher posting fanart is here; I’ve been tempted to post my WALL-E fanart in my art thread, but if it’s not kosher, there’s always my DA archive.

(Oh, I uh, removed the link in my siggy. Sorry. I know purplecat knows my DA name, but if someone else wants to peek, it’s http://rockerbot.deviantart.com )

in reply to: Griffin Pendant #726710

That is beautiful! I want to make jewelery from my own casts some day. Too bad it’s such an expensive hobby!

And yes! I LOVE that celtic griffin pendant! I used to wear it ALL THE TIME until it got kinda dinged up. But I just brought it out again and decided it was still worth wearing. >.> I wish they’d cast it in something stronger than pewter.

This is also awesome. Expensive, but awesome. Looks SO much better in real life.

Someday I shall have a twittergriffin.

    You’ll see.
