May 7, 2013 at 6:32 pm in reply to: Opoponax Male Pegasus going into the store today! 5-6-13 #897055
I’d be interested in seeing the baby and the male with the tan eyes, like the last curled dragon in Opoponax – the solid black seems to remove detail at a distance, especially on the face/head. Maybe going forward the buyer could have a choice of eye color: black or tan. Either way, I would like to include the Male in my collection (I already have the baby).
All the babies so far have been adorable (I see quite a few have the colored buttocks). I didn’t have any favorites per say; I just wanted a brightly colored one. I got mine yesterday but haven’t taken my own pictures yet.
However…
Guess which one I got? Yep, the black and lavender one…I’m hoping she’ll grow on me.
Mine will be here Thursday *anxiously watches mailbox*
How do you find out when your order has shipped and/or will be delivered?
After looking at the class photos and all the pictures that Hannah posted, I can honestly say I haven’t seen many that I wouldn’t be delighted to own! They are so colorful and fanciful! Melody outdid herself once again.
Right!!
And for those of us who may not be able to afford the Grab Bag Young Unicorns, there are always the grab bag dragons to look forward to!!
The pizzas look fantastic and I wish I liked to cook – it looks fun! But….I gotta ask: Whats with the red heads and bug eyes???!!!
Rock-Reader, thank u SOOOOOO much for that link! I wrote it down so ill never forget! You are a lifesaver!! 😀 now I will be able to upload pics on here with ease!!!
Don’t thank me – it’s Hannah’s work!
All the collections are beautiful!! And that rock dragon looks so lifelike!!! I’ll rehome them all, people, just say the word! 😉
I got one!!! The few I’ve seen so far are adorable! I can’t wait to see mine. This will be my first poad!!
Hannah has written a very helpful set of instructions on how to post pictures and links in HTML. I usually open her website on a separate window so I can toggle back and forth between the instructions and this website. I am practically a dummy when it comes to computers but I can usually get the pictures posted. Try it!
I agree witn Kiya. I’d much prefer Windstone gets a larger portion of the profit from selling Melody’s work. $300 is steep, I know, but I’ve been trying to buy a candy corn since I found the website last December and have lost out to the high prices (which someone pays!). So $300 is not unreasonable. I’ve only seen one grab bag baby unicorn go for less than $200 on ebay (and that was a natural from the last batch) – that means the resellers are getting a minimum of $70 profit from the original purchase (I realize with trading alot of resellers are reflecting their cost in trade goods). More of that should be in the artist’s pocket – its only fair. If we can’t affort it, we can’t afford it, but you know someone will….
AS for preferences, I vote for the supernatural, candy ‘corns, etc, etc, etc. Melody – go wild! or not as the spirit moves you. After all, these may be the last youngs for long time….
WOW, that poem is great LOL!

April 28, 2013 at 10:19 am in reply to: Report Windstone Fakes/Knock offs/Infringment Pls read first #896517I don’t know if I am just ignorant but doesn’t the sculpture of the baby pegasus foal (not the hatchling) have a chain around it’s neck with a crystal in it? On ebay, item #321112179825 is a pegasus foal figure without a chain. Is this just an official version that I am am unaware of?
Shado, Happy Birthday! I’ve never seen markings like that – you are an amazing cat!
Live long and prosper….
I’ll take a shot at it:
