Perhaps, Susie, but who feeds and walks the fuzzies…?
Thank you for your kindness and helpfulness!October 20, 2014 at 11:07 pm in reply to: Grab Bag Pebble ARCTIC Fox Show Off thread! 09/25/14 #920896Congratulations! Your little artic fox fits well into your pack(?). And bless your kindhearted friend. Such a nice surprize!
Here is Tango
For planning purposes I would think young Poads, not tadpoads, for equivalent pricing. The last batch of GB young Poads were $135.
you’re probably right, but I’m really hoping they’re cheaper than that =P I can’t get one of they’re that high haha
I was thinking, well hoping, that they would be around 80-100. They are bigger than tadpoads, and have a lot of detail but not as big as a young poad. Just a guess of course. I am hoping they are less than 135 as well, so I can get two, but at that price I could only get one. I hope there is green, pink and purple colors too. I know the DA picture only showed three.
With “only” 125 in the batch, I hope Windstone limits us to one statue, at least at first. I really want one and I have poor luck when it comes to the feeding frenze when grab bags are released. If really popular (and I think they will be that) maybe we can petition Melody to paint more in the near duture….That said, I will also be haunting the store until the grab bag baby poads surface.
From the first time I spyed one of your dragons 30 years ago, I have been capitvated by the line, grace and detail of your work, Melody. Over the years I have spent endless hours just staring in awe at your work. Every day I get joy from your work. Thank you, Melody! Please know that you have brought beauty and wonder into the lives of thousands and that we appreciate it
No problem! I spend most of my time on the forum with my foot lodged firmly between my jaws LOL! My favorite goofup was posting my version of the birth of poads when Melody, of course, had already detailed it years ago (I was totally wrong)
“Might not be good”?? Id ask for a refund then… it wouldnt be fair if you had to pay for something that you cannot use.
Just out of curiosity have you guys tried searching for a new horn caster/plater ? Or are you dedicated to the company you are with? I ask because Im sure us forum members would be eager to help if you needed people to search around for suitable companies that do this (ie in farther away places like here in Canada 😉 ) We may not find anything, but you never know !
Actually Windstone casts their own horns and then send them out to be plated.
Great drawing, Falcolf. Made my morning LOL. Now, if the foxes just come out today… 🙂
If we could tell you when they will be ready, we would! But we really do not know. I can safely say – its not going to be EARLY today! A lot still has to be done. Tomorrow is more likely. There are a lot of foxes. I do not think they will sell out quickly – initially they might all go into carts quickly – but will pop out again after 45 minutes of riding in carts (I’m picturing something like Mario Cart with foxes…).
Thanks for the information, Susie.
Now I can take a nap 😉I’ve sent in my entry
Good luck everyone!!And thank you, Kiya. This is fun
Windstone production could do an orange colored poad with a stenciled black pumpkin and bat, right? I would buy that…
At least you know when your check will reach you! I work as a consultant and, although I submit my invoice for services rendered by the last day of the month, my check can arrive, via USPS, anywhere from five to twenty five days later. This month, the company forgot to process my invoice at all. The only reason I will get paid is that I raised a fuss when I’d not heard anything back from the manager who approves my invoice. Right now my bank account is sucking fumes and I am hoping the red foxes don’t come out until Accounts Payable gets off her duff and pays me! To top it off, the lady in AP won’t answer my emails so I cannot make plans…AGGHHH!!!! 😐

September 15, 2014 at 5:25 pm in reply to: 07/14/2014 Fantasy Grab Bag Unicorn Colt Picture Thread! #918912What a beautiful colt, Bodine! Congratulations!
I received my Fat Cat and she is lovely! She is a rainbow sparkled black with a blue nose, blue ears, a gold and black Celestial goldfish on her back and blue interference paint sweeping the sides of her neck and her lower sides.
She’s a keeper!! (Unless she is someone’s number one favorite…)
