Whoops, thanks!
I’m so sorry to hear that… losing a pet is never easy, they really are family. <3 My thoughts are with you Melody.
Any idea what out next grab bag is going to be? Tanukis? Cougars? Unis? Poads? I am looking forward to whatever it may be!
Tankukis or Cougars would be awesome. I love when a new sculpt is released that way (or a re-release one we haven’t seen in some time, like the GB pebble cats).
May 9, 2015 at 3:33 am in reply to: More Shell Pink Dragons have been added to the store! 5-7-15 #929331In the “Love the New Shell Pink Curlies” thread Melody said probably – it depends on having good castings – “We were going to do the orientals in Shell pink. We’re Having casting issues with the Sun and Moon dragons again, though.”
If it isn’t the horns, it’s the gypsum. Always something!
Oh dear! Well, can’t be overly picky. I’d love to see some pink Orientals of any kind, since I missed the Amethyst ones. 🙂
May 9, 2015 at 2:25 am in reply to: More Shell Pink Dragons have been added to the store! 5-7-15 #929323I was wondering, will the Orientals also be made in this colour? For budgeting purposes 😉
*Bump* Here I go again with the autumn leaf craze. Might you consider painting some LP store dragons (fledgies) like this beautiful ki-rin, maybe around fall of this year? 😀 The colors are just amazing and I adore those green eyes. If I could get a dragon painted like this ki-rin, I would be in Windstone collector heaven.
I agree, that colour scheme would be very appropriate for autumn – The Light green eyes are also a favourite of mine!
The Male Dragon looks surprisingly good in “Shell Pink”.
I was thinking the same! I think the lighter colours really highlight their details.
Plus, what better way to celebrate Spring than these pretties? They remind me of pink hyacinth… Love the smell of those flowers, mmm.
I second that…..baby shell pink dragon . 😉
Is there any other dragons in shell pink heading for the store soon ????We will do all of them, soon as we can get to it.
Does “all of them” also include the orientals?
April 29, 2015 at 6:40 pm in reply to: Report Windstone Fakes/Knock offs/Infringment Pls read first #928801Pretty sure this Mother Dragon is fake. I feel badly, as it already has a $60 bid.
Edit: I did send an e-mail to John.
My little guy showed up today..!
I believe he is a Shushi koi?
I actually really like him! Might be down for trading too though 🙂
Do you have a photo of the damage? It might be easier to describe how to fix it.
For some reason I have received a few broken gargoyles/stonewash critters so I got used to patching them up..
I have used Apoxy Sculpt as recommended by the forum users, but I also had luck with air-drying Fimo clay for at least one gargoyle.
For texture, a bumpy washcloth is very helpful.
For colour, I used enamel paints. Black base coat, and some brown mixed with yellow till I got the right shade. Dry-brush the brown mix over the black base.
Colour-wise, sometimes it’ll be more brownish and sometimes it’ll be more greyish, just leave that up to your best judgement 🙂
They’re up!
Guess there were a few of us waiting around tonight just in case.. I’m on the edge of my seat even though I’m unlikely to see mine for a couple weeks since I’m in Canada, haha.
They are in stock!!
April 21, 2015 at 4:13 pm in reply to: Is anyone else having problems uploading pictures in the " For Sale " classifieds? #928273I was having the same problem, but resizing the file to under 2 mb worked for me… Maybe try renaming the file(s), in case the website thinks it’s the same too-large one as before?
April 19, 2015 at 10:50 pm in reply to: Didn't seem to really fit in anywhere else….anyone else with issues trying to PM forum people? #928177I’ve been sending PMs and haven’t received answers for days, but to be fair it’s only with one person and they could easily have just been busy this weekend.
