Something Amethyst themed might be nice too, as per the birthstone.. 🙂
This gal is the “White Opal” test paint by Jordan as photographed in the ebay gallery:
That’s really pretty! I feel like maybe a tiny touch of pink/purple would make it more “opal-y,” but this one looks hard to photograph, so for all I know there already is. :p
How cute! Looks like I’m not the only one who finds his white ridge/scales really nice. It really draws attention to his face, and he looks like he enjoys the attention 🙂 I also very much like the detail put into the scales on his neck and going down his tummy.
Purple/blue and yellow/gold just go so well together <3 Great work!
My wolf arrived today – I was so surprised to see her, spotted was the last one I thought I’d end up with! But she is so cute. I’m actually kicking myself a little, because if I’d have kept my GB Lady Cat, they’d match perfectly. I sold her mostly because she looked out of place. Oh well, hindsight is 20/20 right?
I loveee the little pawpad details. 🙂
I think her antiquing gives her a nice off-white look. I’m thinking of calling her Cookies ‘n Cream.

*whispers*
poooooaads…..Absolutely agreed! Very nice to see as much as possible first 🙂
Congrats! They look so cute all together! 🙂
Why is the old Green so hard to find?
As far as I know only one batch of them was ever made, and it was small. (20? Something like that?) So there just aren’t that many of them out there, and nobody wants to sell theirs.
Wow! Congrats again, then 🙂
Ravnheart also shows a pink frog, sold in January 2009, which is an odd little creature:
Ohh dear! I had no idea there was another frog – was he part of the original lineup? I feel like I MUST have one to go with my frog wizard and prince. 🙂
Congrats! They look so cute all together! 🙂

February 12, 2015 at 9:44 pm in reply to: Mother Griffin Gargoyles – Will they be back in the store? #925630The Mother Griffin Gargoyle in the standard stone color was retired in 2001 – long before we had a website. We cannot make them in that color again. Melody might choose another color for them, we do not know.
I had actually been wondering, what are the legal implications behind “retiring” something? Are there any, or is it more for consistency when the term is used? (So that “retired” doesn’t ever accidentally become “might return some day” ?)
That said, I like it’s a lovely sculpt also. I’m sure it’d look great with an alternate colour scheme! I think it looks amazing with the various colours we’ve seen so far, it seems to be very flexible.
I am so totally stoked! When I saw these critters, I fell in love with the darker colored one at the very top of the shop photo and was just over the moon when I opened up my fox-box and there she was! (or one of her near-identical litter mates!) This fox is just so gorgeous and unlike any other that I have in my collection. I’m so happy with her!
This one has me (figuratively) drooling a little…! Love the dark, rich colours.
Also – Can I just take a moment to thank Susie and everyone at Windstone for the amazing attitudes and thoughtfulness displayed here?
It’s not every day you see a company go so far as to clarify so many things, care about every customers’ input – and even suggest a potential special set of grab bags just because we are all so fond of them. It’s very moving to see it all played out here, especially having a couple of “customer service horror stories” under my belt as I’m sure many of us do…
I’m sure I’m not the only one who is grateful for this kind of consideration as a customer 🙂 It makes one feel very happy to be a part of this community, and a supporter of such a wonderful company.
Rodney’s GB Wolf came yesterday:
He has lovely metallic gold eyes…:)
His coat color reminds me somewhat of a Russian Blue Cat with hints of grey and black.
According to tracking, my Wolf will be here tomorrow…:D
Looks like I’m not the only one who’s quite taken with this little guy! Congrats to Rodney!
There was one other similar one whose post I can’t find right now, but it’s lovely too!
I really adore the dark greys <3
I’m so happy for you! And actually jealous too! A cruise sounds amazing. Have fun, take lots of photos!
