LOL I actually had that ‘knock-off’ gargoyle. I looks like the Roaring one, right? It’s funny because when I bought it I thought it looked really familar, then I later found out why 🙄 . I think it ended up being sold in a yard sale or something a while ago. I’m not really into gargoyles anymore anyways….
I’m not a fan of diamonds myself. It kinda sucks because my birthstone is a diamond (April) and when I was younger any jewelery I go as gifts were of the fakey imatation diamond kind. I generally go for the semi-precious stones myself. The only diamonds I own are on my engagment ring and I don’t wear it because I afraid I’ll loss the stones 🙄 .
I agree with everybody else! Please come back Phoenix! You have every right to sell what is yours, for whatever price, they are YOUR Windstones for pete-sakes! I would have loved to have bought some of your items, but I’m so damn broke right now it’s not even funny. They were priced very reasonably so don’t feel guilty.
I have to admit I get annoyed if I can’t get a LP piece sometimes, but thats because I either miss them when they come out in the store or because I don’t have the money when they come out. That’s MY problem, not anyone elses. If someone buys a LP piece and then sells it so be it! Its a free market, and besides you were selling items that you had for a while… It’s your buisness what you want to do with your Windstones.
I think alot of us collecters are hurting for cash right now, and that’s why you see a lot of people selling stuff. More power to them, if they can make a profit, great! Please come back Phoenix…
I have to admit, I’m like that too. My husband teases me and says I must have been a crow or a dragon in one of my past lives. I love collecting pretty and shiny things. I have an obscene amount of beads, many of which are natural gemstones. I suppose you could call that a ‘hoard of beads’ .
I apologize if this is a silly question but…I was just curious what your favorite gemstone was? I ask because I just recently was made aware that my favorite production color to date, Peacock, was actually based on the mineral peacock ore. I thought that was really neat 🙂 . I have several favorites myself, but my top three are Amber, Labradorite and Rainbow Moonstone.
Wow! I love the little dragon! I think his patterns are really cool, he reminds me of some sort of exotic bug or fishy. The wolf is very beautiful to, I love his markings.
I know I have a list of what I want at least a foot long, but I’m pretty sure I’ll have to wait out on the first ‘rush’ for the PYOs. I want Keepers to, but I have a feeling I’ll miss out, which is okay because I don’t have any money anyways 🙄 . I’m also hoping we will be seeing some new PYO sculpts, like the pheonix and perhaps Flap cats 😉 .

I got the impression that this was a major present from the family, not just something from the daughter, but although they looked at a few of Melody’s Dragons, Mom was clearly seeing the price and not the Dragon.
Then they saw the cheaper mass-produced dragons, hand-painted in China and made of genuine Alabasterite. There was this one with the egg and young dragon, a single dragon, a two headed dragon, and a wizard.
They ended up buying the two-headed dragon, because it was so cool.
I think when you have only about $25 to your name, these dragons are really not as ugly as most of us here would like to believe.
I can definatly relate to having limited funds and I have to admit I have a number of resin and alabasterite type dragons myself. They are some really cool and well made ones out there. I never really liked that paticular sculpture, thats all I was saying 😉 .
LOL. I just saw that again on ebay. I noticed her starting bid has gone down…
I would almost be tempted to make an offer,( I really like that ‘tacky’ dragon) but I wouldn’t want to cater to such a disagreable individual.
