He was hard to photograph; the best way I was able to make the gold show at its best (and it’s still not great) was on white background.
I’m really glad you like him – you had stated bold colors, but that can mean so many different things!

I sometimes receive a mixture of the two types of foo foos too. I haven’t put any of the non-biodegradable foo foos on my compost heap yet. So no worries!

What a cute Keeper! Tiger markings are a huge weakness of mine. But I haven’t been brave enough to try them on a PYO yet. I think I will with my next one.

-squees- When you mentioned you’d taken a photo of them together I so wanted to see! But I wasn’t sure how to ask. Thank you for posting it! So cool that they got to meet in person for at least a little while. Ha ha. I’m such a nerd! XD
Thank you again for such a lovely Foo Dad! I have him sitting on my dresser, safe from my rambunctious cats and with my other lovely PYO swap. Seeing them gives me the warm fuzzies.

He just screams the Grand Prismatic Spring. Thank you so much Melody! He’s absolutely gorgeous. And you’re right, what is with these Father Foos and their names!? 🙂 I hope my pictures do even a little bit of justice to him.

He’s absolutely wonderful and his inspiration (the Grand Prismatic Spring) shines through. Thank you SO much! He’s awesome! XD I’ll get pictures up as soon as I can get some of him in sunlight (probably Monday evening, this weekend is crazy for me). He arrived a bit too late in the day to get good pics and it’s rained (so the ground is all mushy).
