Fortunately, these two cats don’t spray (thank God, almost nothing is smellier than cat spray) so that’s not an issue. And I have looked up several home remedies. There are a LOT on the net and they pop up within 30 seconds of searching (citrus peels, coffee grounds, pipe tobacco, placing chicken wire cut points down so it doesn’t hurt and covering with a thin layer of dirt, etc). Yesterday I had asked him to give me some time so I could look up deterrents and he told me he’d gone to Lowe’s but couldn’t find anyone to talk to so he just left. Said he was going back but…. -shrugs-
As for the litter box. I’m going to try it. But my back patio has no roof and rain plus used litter is gag inducing (personal experience, yay!). I’m considering placing one box on the front porch which does have a roof (thankfully!). The sandbox in the back is a nice idea but I’d still have to worry about rain flooding it. And weeds are so vigorous around here I’d have to weed the litter box if it was in ground. Ick! ^_^; I’ll have to experiment. The positive of one on the porch is that people could see I’m TRYING to do something. And that’s where I feed them anyways. I’ve got some bushes growing in front of the porch so I’ll place it behind them so it’s not as obvious. Our HOA is sensitive about trash cans being visible so who knows how they’ll react to a visible litter box. -sighs- We’ll see.

Any of you guys see this on Deviantart?
I know everybody else wants grab bags, but I want more PYOs! The hippocampus is looking amazing, and I see the oriental dragon that I have been drooling over for months in the background there. I hope they get finished soon! (Although Melody is scaring me bay saying the oriental might not be a PYO. I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed a PYO oriental dragon in my life!)
Oh, the Oriental is definitely going to be a pyo, I am just not sure what to do with the lion kirin in the background.
The lion kirin is a gorgeous creature concept. And his twisted back ears are so cute! I would be happy if he ended up a production piece or a PYO. He’s just too faboo to be shelved! But everything in it’s own time of course.
And I’m still very much looking forward to the oriental pyo! With his mouth open like that, I think those of us with marble collections will have to guard them. He looks like a marble hoarder to me. 😉

I might like to put a polished gem rock in his mouth, more options than just a marble. 😉Oooooo Lion Ki-Rin and Hippocampus PYOS too perhaps? 😀
A polished gem would be way more awesome than a marble. I just mentioned marble because sometimes it’s easier to find those. 😉
I’d like to see a production series of the Lion Ki-Rin with a female and baby. That would be SO cute! It would be cool if they were PYOs, but I think they might work better as production.
I’m not sure how I feel about the Hippocampus. I like the creature (it’s details are great!) but every time I look at the sculpt I keep feeling like the upper body is too big for the lower body. I dunno, maybe it’s the angle of the photograph or my imagination.

A chemical one from Walmart and a rechargeable ultrasonic one with adjustable frequencies a friend had good luck with from Amazon. We’re planning on going to this neighbor’s home tonight and giving them to him to use in his yard. Hopefully he’ll cooperate. If he doesn’t we’re letting him know we’re going to lodge a complaint with our HOA (I don’t remember the covenant having a cat on leash rule) and file a complaint with the police. And if anything does happen to my cats then I’m filing an animal cruelty charge.
I’m a little calmer now (still angry, but who wouldn’t be?). Thank you guys for your advice and support. Especially you, LupusLunae. I’ve contacted my local rescue (not animal shelter like he wanted me too), but I have yet to hear back from them. Same about the HOA. And I’ve already mentioned the incident to a couple neighbors. I don’t have a phone that can record, but I do have a small voice recorder I used to record lectures in college. I’ll check to see if it still works.
To my knowledge, we don’t have a colony in the neighborhood. The only unaltered female wandering around seems to be the girl we caught and got spayed. We got her first kitten neutered and got her second litter to a rescue organization before managing to catch her and get her spayed. The only other cats we see are other people’s outdoor cats and a couple males that may or may not be strays.
Ugh, this old man is crazy. If he had come and asked for help in dealing with the problem I’d like to think I would have helped. But the first time he approaches me he threatens the cats under my care! I’m sorry but I’ve seen rabbits, armadillos and all sorts of other critters wandering the neighborhood in addition to other cats. But he’s going to harass me and threaten my animals? I don’t go around the neighborhood threatening other people’s dogs when they poop in my yard (I don’t like it, but I don’t go out and act like a jerk about it either).
Anyways, let calmer heads prevail. We’ve got a plan of action so at least there’s that for now.

I got my gal and I think she’s the most delicately patterned lady in the bunch. She’s the one circled in red. She looks very much like a lightly metallic cougar with light, delicate striping. I know she’s not going to turn any heads, but I love her. So I’m not offering to trade or sell her. Her natural looking style will match well with my Flion. I’ll post my own pics later. I’m not feeling up to it right now after what happened today.

A suggestion: I was wondering if you had perhaps thought of using something like a cake decorating lazy susan to perhaps display them on? Maybe then it would stay focused easier?

That does sound good. Perhaps use a black cloth on top for light sculpts and a white cloth for dark sculpts?
I’m thinking that watching the LiveStream was actually a good luck charm for me. I was thrilled to snag one when they came out.

I really like the natural looking ones with mottled rosettes and the airbrushed stripes, which is weird for me, cause I’m usually all over paint puke. Ughhhhh someone buy them all please so I won’t feel so conflicted! I am saving money for a convention…. must…resist!
Okay, now I have to ask. What convention are you going to? I’ll be making it to Anime Weekend in Atlanta which is the only reason I’d be this personal nosy and ask.

Alright, now I gotta ask: How long do we have to wait until the limit of one per customer gets lifted? I know it’s still way too early, but it’s the morning after and there are more than 10 in stock, so it got me wondering. (Can you tell I’m eager for more cougars?:))
-laughs- I’d love to buy more, but I had to use credit to get the one I did. So…oh well. I got at least one anyways! <3
