I have used clear nail polish to seal Breyer Stablemate horses. It’s really hard not to get brush strokes, but otherwise worked really well. Very shiny and I like shiny things. 🙂
For the Muse Swap I bought Liquitex Gloss Varnish and that worked much better, in my opinion, than the nail polish. So I will be using it on the horses, from now on as well. It is also a lot less smelly. 🙂

Thanks ghostndragon! There was a cutie patootie in my mail box today. I think you did a mighty fine job. He’s shiny and richly colored. I especially like the blue-black on the one set of scales. I will get pics tomorrow. 🙂
