I’m SO sorry all this is happening to you!! You have been through so much, and Barrwing is so right, you have to take care of yourself–eating, sleeping, exercise, and lots of B vitamins to combat stress– or you won’t be able to be there for Danny. On another note, sometimes it’s effective to let them know that if they won’t talk to you that you are considering legal action. That often gets people jumping around. Also considering taking it to your congressman and /or the media, and letting them know how you are being treated. I know when I worked for Social Security, and we got a congressional inquiry, we really started jumping around, they were very important. That doesn’t cost you anything like what an attorney would cost, and just the threat can be often more effective than actually having to do it. That way they have the chance to correct it and actually talk to you before you consult an attorney and that option is still open to you. They value their reputation and if mistreatment comes to light in a public way, they will want to pay attention. Another resource is the Public Relations Dept of the hospital. They will be interested to know if this is a threat to their image. Also the Medical Director of the hospital and the Director of Nursing are other resources. You do have some power in this and maybe you can’t fight the cancer on its ground but you can fight this system on your ground.
Good luck and may the universe take good care of you! Please continue to keep us posted!!!

*nods sagely* This actualy is VERY good advice, following up any any of thoes avenues, even just the Public Relations or Hospital Directors can help you feel like you’re doing something productive, and very well may actualy help the situation! Best of luck, and as always, LOTS OF HUGS AND LOVE!

And thank all of you for the well wishes and suggestions. Maybe someone will come up with something that I or my docs haven’t tried before and hey, what’s it gonna hurt to try!

Thank all of you too for listening, I know it seems like we all post a lot of problems and issues, but really sometimes just getting stuff out in the open makes us feel better (and maybe not kill something) 😳

                    Love and hugs!

Are you on any blood thinning medications?

If not you could try a product called Nattokinase…it’s supposed to improve blood flow and I read testimonies about it greatly helping headaches (and in some people stopping them) I remember one case with a woman who suffered with headaches for years and this was the only thing that worked for her.

If you’re curious look it up! Can’t hurt to try, hm?

Hope you feel better real soon!!

They suggested blood thinners once… but I have a history of REALLY low blood pressure so they thought it might be too dangerous. Good thought tho!

Actualy there’s not much they haven’t tried as a profilactic (preventative), to include post heart attack medication (basicaly to enlarge the vascular system for easier blood flow), anti depressants (been on a LOT of different ones of those, and they didn’t work for migraines when I was on them, ever). And a few other things I can’t remember…

Ya, at this point I’m just hoping that labotimies will come back in style. XD

Ya know, I JUST noticed that you put a little of the glow in the dark orange on the bottom belly feathers and the tops of his feet so it looks like the sunset is reflecting off of clouds in the sky and like rocks on the beach that are his feet. ZOMG I’m actualy really sorry I didn’t try and steal this guy LoL He’s really really neat!

Oh god don’t even get me STARTED on PD and Danny’s situation….I’m so ready to go over there and beat some heads it….seriously…. I feel SO horrible for what’s happening to them! And they’re paying for it! Me, I’ve got the VA medical system, and since I’m a 70% disabled veteran I get free health care for the rest of my life. So I expect that it’s not going to be perfect, and if I REALLY need something done, I can always go to a private doctor and pay for it. It’s nice to have the choice. And honestly, I like figguring stuff out for myself. It gives mea much better understanding of what’s really going on, and I can help facilitate the process. I mean really, I shouldn’t complain too much about sitting in the ER for 3 hours just for a shot of demerol, and 5 hours to have a CT scan and a shot of Demerol really isn’t that bad, but for me it’s just easier to stay at home where it’s dark and quiet and wait out the migraines rather than go to the ER. But honestly the VA isn’t that bad, with the exception of the neurology clinic ( 👿 👿 ) they’ve been really good about getting me appointments and treating me properly.

As for the ER doc not wanting to see me, it’s not like there’s much more they could have done for me other than an IV demerol drip, but that really isn’t feasable, so his suggestion was really the most reasonable. I just think it’s funny.

screw that, I’d move my stuff out and then burn the place down….accidentaly leave some candles burning next to the curtains or something…. 👿

Sadly I was thinking Jennifer read the signs “Jennifer…Will you marry me?” and then drove off the road and died rather that what actualy was posted….But I’m sick that way…

P.S. is it bad that as the ER doctor is giving you a shot of demerol he tells you to wait 4 hours and if you’re still in pain take 2 vicodin every 6 hours while the pain persists? I think valium would be a more practical choice at this point….
