There is just one of these patina kirins -though he is a test paint which means I left a loop hole to paint more, but we aren’t casting kirins right now.

I think I would like him better with green as well. I’m hoping if they ever make production Patina colored dragons, that they would have green or brown eyes as well.

Uh huh. The red eyed prototype baby I have is fantastic. I really wish my bronze Koi-rin had red eyes in him.

Have you tried the green? I think the green would be too cool in the orientals… I would really love a copper coiled mother, maybe a lap?? But production of course e-bay is out of my league 😀

Green eyes look awful. It is the blue-green color of he patina on him that is the problem, it just doesn’t go with any color we have. It totally clashes with the yellow-y green of the eyes, though the copper color goes ok with it. When we get the eye painting back in gear, I’m gonna try mixing a pale green, or blue green color and see if I can come up with something better. Who won that kirin?
