And its totally believable too…it reminds me of something that happened last year. There was a tense cat-squirrel confrontation in my backyard, where a squirrel was on the lawn and a big cat had gotten between the squirrel and the tree, with the cat about 4 feet in front of the squirrel. The wall of my workshop is next to the lawn and was also about 4 feet to the right of the squirrel (who I think of as Neo, as you’ll see later). The cat was getting ready to pounce, but Neo quickly sized up the situation. He rushed to the workshop wall, ran partway up the side on momentum, then pushed himself off. He did a flying leap over the head of the dumbfounded cat and landed in the bush surrounding the trunk of the tree. From there, he leaped onto the trunk of the tree and made his escape…and all this happened so fast that the cat didn’t even have time to move. Was that a Matrix type move worthy of Neo, or what? :lol:…..

Hi guys! *waves*
I wish I was on a squirrel safari, but I’ve actually been trapped in the slave pits since last Sunday — finally managed to escape for a little while right now and check the forum. Actually, in case anyone was wondering, I was slaving away all of last week and through the weekend too…finally managed to get on the forum Sunday night. So I was only able to get on the forum twice during the last two weeks…talk about havig serious withdrawal symptoms… 😆 Work has been and continues to be really crazy…sigh…
Wow, that’s really strange squirrel behavior. I’ve never seen a squirrel do that before…it sounds like it was ill. I hope that squirrel was OK.
However, I do see my squirrels splatted spreadeagled on the dirt occasionally during the summer on the few really hot days (the dirt is damp from the sprinklers and a lot cooler) and I have seen them sitting somewhere making a loud cawing noise (the first time I heard it I thought it was a bird!). It seems like they make that noise when there’s something they’re disturbed about. Once I saw one of the squirrels sitting on the roof scolding the cat which was sitting on the deck below with the loud cawing noise for about 10 minutes! I guess he didn’t appreciate having cats around when he was trying to have lunch… 🙂
Its too bad that your boss isn’t more supportive…and I don’t like confrontations either, so I can definitely relate. But sometimes there’s no choice. I hope everything goes well when you have your talk tomorrow!

Ugh…that kind of thing can be a real pain. If nothing else works, maybe talk to your boss? Maybe he can clarify to this guy the things that you’re in charge of…I don’t know what DHL’s rates are but my exeperience with them was good. All good reasons! And I know exactly what you mean about having someone like that report to you — I’ve had a few of those over the years and its a pain in the butt.
I think the restraining order is a good idea too. Then they legally can’t come close to the house, and it might make them think twice about trying anything.
Plus, Drag0n will probably get priority if she has to call the cops, since it’ll be in regards to an actual crime (violating the restraining order).
That’s the truth. I got hooked on Civilization 4, and if I wasn’t so busy I’d be playing it now. Actually, I’m looking forward to spending a lot of time playing that when I’m on vacation. I’m off for 2 weeks after next Friday. Yay!
