Sure, you can come…but the problem right now is that we need to get visas first and I haven’t yet figured out how to contact the government of SquirrelLand…
But SquirrelLand would be an awesome place to visit…among other things, they’re probably experts at making nut flavored ice creams and I love those…
Oh, definitely Fangorn Forest if I had to pick one of those! But I think Lothlorien would be an even better location for the squirrel safari. Imagine the squirrel lords dressed in their robes, living in their tree city…that’s actually my image of SquirrelLand… 😀

I think the fact that people here feel comfortable enough to post about personal issues is one of the things that makes this forum special. I, for one, feel like we’re group of friends rather than some random strangers on a public forum. So I think as long as the topic isn’t something that’s purposely offensive, its fine to discuss….and I don’t think any of us get offended that easily anyway. 🙂
Besides, it if something is really inappropriate, Chessie or Vantid can always step in…

See, here’s the story (as I heard it.) Peter Jackson got paid a fair bit for the LOTR movies. But his contract specified he was supposed to get a chunk of the royalties as well, and he hsn’t gotten it yet.
So when New Line, who had leased the rights to The Hobbit, came to him about directing it, he said, in essence, “I’m not doing new work for you guys until you pay me what you already owe me for what I’ve done.” And they said, “Forget that, we’ll just get somebody else to do it!”
But apparently New Line no longer owns The Hobbit, MGM has gotten the rights to it, and are considering trying to get Jackson to direct it after all.
I hope that happens! I doubt any other director could do as amazing a job on it as Jackson would. And for me at least, the LOTR movies have defined the image and feel of Middle Earth — it would seem very strange if that changed.BiPolarBear wrote:mimitrek wrote:* waves back *

The warming thing is a good possibility it was one of those days where it’s cold but the sun is shining. The cement was probably warm. I wonder if the hawk that lives at my school was out…I didn’t think of that.
