Great job Amstaff! Looks awesome!
It was nice and sunny and 40 degrees today! So I took some outside photos.
Love baby kirins, safari poads, mini keepers, and anything BLUE, BLUE, and, oh yes, BLUE.
Thanks MandBsMom. Is yours a bit lighter green? I couldn’t tell if all the greens on the dragons were different shades or different lighting. It would be cool to see all them all together if Melody has a picture. I also want to say thank you so much Melody for sending us these. I have never won a quest or raffle before so to have participation prizes is really kind of you and I am really excited that I got a baby dragon!
I meant to include this photo above too but here is my little dragon with all the other babies I have for some colour comparison. The only one I still need is a copper patina baby dragon so I hope Melody paints some soon!
Mine is more of a yellow green. It looks like a cross between an emerald and a violet flame. Really cool!

Oooooo, Kim, I like the dark green shade of yours. And the purple in him too. Very very nice! I almost want to set up an imaginary photo session with all of these guys to see how they are similar/different. Great job Melody!

Amstaff, it is awesome that you keep such careful records of your collection! I’m sure many people have wished that they had started that habit in the beginning of their collecting. I’ve got a collection program for my model horses, and I’ve modified part of it to put in my Windstones. I know others keep sheets with all that info plus a photo in a three ring binder. When it comes to insuring your collection, or even making it easier on family should something happen to you, record keeping is not crazy! If your collection has grown to that size after less than a year, I’m sure you will come to appreciate your record keeping years from now!

Yours is quite different! Just gorgeous!

Bodine, that Foo dog is awesome! I haven’t yet tried a black based PYO. I only have one in route to me now, but the ideas I have keep telling me to get more blanks!
Kujacker, the wolf looks fantastic! I absolutely LOVE the colors on the keeper. I just bought a PYO from Hannah that had a similar color palette, just less white.Thank you guys for the tips and pictures. All of you are great and very encouraging!

So when are we planning to start this? This will be my first swap, so I am unfamiliar with the process.

Wow! The scales on that kirin are amazing! I’m SO eager to get started with these.
This is a mini resin horse that I did back in 2006(!). I did him in pastels. Started with pale yellow and then built up the color in layers to the red bay, then black for the legs and body shading. So I am familiar with doing it that way. I can’t wait to get started! And I’m going to have to use another coupon and get the second pack of colors!

I didn’t even think about just doing a PYO with pastels/powdered pigments. I’ve done a couple mini resin horses with pastels, so I’m comfortable with the process. I’m excited to start using them. I’m definitely going to be including them somehow on the March swap piece.

Just a lovely mother dragon! That OW prize is also fabulous. Congrats to you guys!

OMG, Melody!!!! Thank you thank you thank you! You are so awesome! I received my participant prize in the mail today too!! I was SO confused when I saw the box. I ordered a natural colored BE last night along with a keeper PYO, so I knew it couldn’t be them. I wondered if I had gotten someone’s box by mistake. You guys knock it out of the park when it comes to customer service and keeping your collectors happy. No one does it better! My dragon collection is sorely lacking (but swimming in pebbles), so this little guy is very welcome! He’s quite the adorable little guy!

Cuteness overload! I love the markings on that tri-color girl.
