I’m so sorry for the ebay disappointment. It really does suck when you have your heart set on something, finally find it, and then are promptly cursed by the ebay f*** up fairies. It sounds like you have quite a few options though, so after a few days of deserved despair, you can set about getting your still special and still super rare dragon some help. And think, after he’s all repaired and prettied up, he will be even more special to you because of the story and challenge he embodies.
Wow, what the hell is wrong with that vet? Someone needs to smack her, you don’t randomly mess with an old animal’s meds, especially cats and insulin! It’s great that your cat has been responsive to insulin, many cats with diabetes are insulin resistant and don’t life long or well with the disease. I had to get over my needle fear when my cousin’ dog, who I pet sat/dog-napped for over a year while they bought a new house and put in a yard for her, got diabetes. It took like 5 months to get her blood sugar fully under control, and the vets and techs kept telling us how much easier it is with dogs than cats. It ticks me off to think you had your old kitty boy stabilized for five years and some moron comes along and upsets the balance. I hope you get it sorted out soon and your older kitty boy doesn’t suffer while the humans try to grow brains.
Wow, that’s a lot of ruby dragons. I’d be all over that emperor, but I’m afraid I’d lose some of that fickle red paint while cleaning out the dust 🙁
I was super excited for the foos, but now knowing about all those dragons that are in the works, just wow…it’s almost too much awesome! I can’t wait.
frickin nasty, dirty sugar companies have got me so pissed off! I’d heard about bone char..oh I mean “natural charcoal” before, but I had no idea it was still in use! All the big companies use bones from cows slaughtered in third world countries to decolorize refined sugar…because it has to be pure frickin white, ya know? I’ve baked with it my entire life and have been as ignorant as a slug. Ugh, apparently I need to find a brand that only does beet sugar.
I’ve always liked C&H too, my grandpa worked for them all his life. Tomorrow I’m giving them the angry vegan call, see if I can make the unlucky fellow who answers the phone cry.No nail polish or anything weird on him? Woot!

WOOT got a peacock sun dragon on ebay for BIN $40. He finally got here, I was so worried something would be wrong with him, but he survived the trip! He does have three little damage spots, on his eyebrow, one a side scale, and on a claw. I also noticed he has a glue drop on his fang, so apparently he’s been repaired. But I’m VERY PLEASED with him :bigsmile: I have to think of a name for him…

For all the crap I find myself having to deal with on ebay, buys like this make it worth while!
I just painted all the baby unis in Grab Bag colors.. but we are casting more. I am planning to do more baby kirins sometime, but because we are still behind on getting dragons re-stocked,they are low priority.

^THIS is amazing! I saw this color pattern on the emperor, and it was pretty and cool and I said “Oooo pretties”, but then I saw this and said “OMG WANT!” The color was MADE FOR the curlie sculpture! Just wow, beyond drool-worthy. He looks so realistic and perfectly natural. This is soooo something I’d love to see as a lp piece in the store!
I like the look of the silver ones more, but is this just for the baby unicorns or does this mean the horn issue is solved or nearly so and there will be young unicorns again….and so maybe more grab bag young unicorns one day??? :love:

I used to play, and I have a ton hiding under my bed. I have gone to comic and card stores before to sell, but they just want to pick out the rares and give me store credit. So I’ve hung onto mine forever. I have a few revised but my collection is mostly 4th edition, ice age, visions, mirage, prophecy, invasion, and then some portal, tempest, prophecy, the dark, plainshift, and nemesis. Probably 2000-3000 cards, but I’ve never counted =/ I was making a list with each card and condition, but I got bored with it =(
