No link for you!

Well, I’m sure since DragOn already posted that she needs at least a half batch, I vote they go in the time it takes for you to bid for her 🙂

LOL, yah, I’m waiting “patiently” too.
SilverArrow wrote:Maybe, but to be honest, I have seen some things sell months ago and they still haven’t done a second batch. I know the pearl griffins came out around July 4th holiday, and they haven’t been seen since, and I totally missed the albino griffins and have yet to see those come back around. I wish we could know for sure what the minimum batch number is for a limited production. It would be easier to budget.
Hmm, I wonder if Windstone even knows. I’m guessing they see how well/fast the first batch sells, and if there is a demand for more? The Gryphon’s were a larger piece and therefore more expensive so there might not be interest from enough collectors at this moment to make another batch. These dragons are small, and less expensive (although, still a lot for there size) so more people might gobble them up and then Windstone might make more seeing the swift buying from collectors.

I’m waiting for the PYO wolf too. Although, I got the little dragon because that is what my mother is now getting me for Christmas (she just doesn’t know it yet). Otherwise, I would have passed on it if she didn’t mind me picking out my own Xmas present.
Welcome to the forum 🙂

Then whose posts will I read while I’m having trouble sleeping if you didn’t talk to much 🙁
SPark wrote:Well, part of the point of sniping is that it doesn’t drive up the bid early. I snipe quite a bit, and it does often work for me.
It doesn’t matter if the the price wasn’t driven up beforehand. If the only other person (or the current high bidder)is willing to pay more for something than me (and therefore has a higher maximum bid, and they usually do since I’m usually bidding to get a deal, not to blow my savings away), my last minute sniping is uneffective at winning the auction.
I’m glad you are successful at it. I don’t think I have the money to be a viable “sniper”. Also, I must go for auctions that many other people are also interested in. Last few auctions I was attempting to “snipe”, there was usually at least 2 other people “sniping” at the same time as me.
I don’t find sniping all that effective personally, since I’m usually not willing to pay as much for the item as the final winner usually does. Last few auctions I participated in the last seconds, my “sniping” bid wasn’t even remotely as high as the winner’s maximum bid, so basically, I just wasted my time making sure I was available at auction close. Well, I guess I did drive the price up, but otherwise, it was a waste of my time.
I only bid what I’m willing to pay (and can afford to pay, which isn’t much), never a penny more, so if someone “snipes” from me, even if it is only one bid increment of $1.00, it is still more than I’m willing to pay and they can have it.
Edit: Although, Windstone buyers tend to have high maximum bids. I have been successful on last second bidding on other things on Ebay.

Ah, ok, lol, well, it is a sucky week to work outside, the weather is just sooooo wet lately 🙁
Feels like it never will end.drag0nfeathers wrote:Okay so PLEASE wait till after 3…or even 2:30! I will SPEED home even though we are under a flood warning 😛
We are supposed to have some really heavy rain so maybe I will get the day off anyway…….which is actually bad, cause I REALLY NEED THE MONEY TO BUY LOTS OF PYOS!I must have missed something, I thought you didn’t have a job anymore?
It’s 3pm in CA.
And sorry DragonOn, I’ll be here hoping they release them very early. Yup, hoping. I have night graduate classes and late auctions only hurt my chances of obtaining items.Hmm… pretty close in the polls. I wonder what eye color will be chosen.
If you like the pegasus, buy it.
As Arlla mentioned, resin is a relatively cheap material. If people are paying a lot for a resin horse, it is for other reasons besides the material it is cast in.
skigod377 wrote:Thats a good reason! Though it still does not negate the fact that he does not have original pics and almost no feedback. He/she could be perfectly legit, but all those factors added together is too much for me.
Yes, I don’t think he should be trusted unless people actually contact him directly and see his Windstones in pictures.
Look at the auction the person who gave the “z” feedback won (This “z” person also has 2 negative feedback, one claiming a “scam”). It’s for a cellphone, but look at the bidding history. Only one legit person bidded on it for 42.00, the rest were from people with 0 or 1 feedback and one who was “not a registared user” (I think that was what was next to their name) who drove the price up to 200.00 to meet but not beat this “z” person’s bid.
I wonder if that auction also started private so legit bidders couldn’t see that the seller was intentionally jacking up the price of the item by having nonlegit “buyers” bid. Looks like no one fell for it though. I’m guessing that’s what could be happening in these Windstone auctions.
I could be wrong, but it is better safe than sorry and if the seller is honest, he won’t mind responding with pictures to an email.
