No trouble at all! You just reminded me to have a try, which I do every 14 days when I don’t forget. 😉
I start by creating a bubble wrap cone around the horn and top of the unicorn’s head, I then burrito wrap the whole piece, including the horn. After that, it goes into a first box with packing peanuts, and into a second box with more packing peanuts. I haven’t had one get damaged in shipping yet, but it might just be luck.
No, the Garden Dragon was always meant as an outdoor sculpt so it wouldn’t have been a match for the Emperor. Some members took to calling it the Empress because of her size, but IMO, she’d even be a little too big to be the Empress.
I wonder if the thread discussing the origin of the OW as Empress still exists…

Sorry to butt in for Melody, but just because I remember the answer… 😉
If I remember correctly, the sculpt that ended up being the Old Warrior was actually meant to be the Empress. There is more to the story though so I’ll let Melody tell it 🙂

THE STONE HAS PASSED!!!
Okay, “stone” is not what I called it, but since this is a family friendly forum, I’ll refrain from using my pet name for it.
Turns out that most of the symptoms that I was associating with medication side effects were actually due to the stone, amazing how you can go from feeling like roadkill one moment to feeling like (slightly battered) normal again!
I’m babbling, I know, I feel almost giddy with the relief!!!
Back to business:
The GB Uni is sold. Like I had mentionned in the ad, there was some urgency to the sale, and whenever I had a moment of relief from the trouble the kidney stone was causing me I did go online and updated everyone as best I could. If I missed an email or a PM, or if I failed to inform anyone of a raise in bid, I most sincerely apologize. All I can say in my defense is that the last 2 weeks are a blur of pain, nausea and confusion for me and that for most of that time I couldn’t gather enough concentration to even turn on the computer.
Hopefully, I didn’t miss anyone, and the person who got the uni is the rightful winner. I know she certainly wanted it badly, so congratulations to her!
