I’ve mentionned this in the past so many of you already know that I keep a database of the prices Windstone pieces go for on ebay and I’ve recently had several people ask me the average selling price for various items.
I’m always happy to oblige, after all it gives me an excuse to keep doing it without feeling too OCD 😆 , but I haven’t been reading every post or even every topic for several weeks now, just can’t keep up! 😉
So if you’re looking for that sort of information, just PM me and I will give you the info with pleasure. I do log on every day!
PS: My computer crashed in September and I lost all my files, so my current database dates back trom October 2006 only.

😆 Average selling price since October 1st 2006: $69.56 (7 sold in mint condition).
I actually like it whenever I get this sort of question, this way, I don’t feel so nuts for doing this 😆
Although, I should mention if you really want me to answer these, you’re better off sending me a private message because, although I do log on every day, I don’t read every single post anymore, not even every topic, there’s just too much to keep up with!

I think both you and Ski are out of luck with that wish… It’s true that there will never be any other PROTOTYPE Old Warriors in Black Gold, but I’m thinking that there will eventually be regular production OW in black gold, but after all it’s not exactly the same sculpt, so yours will always be special.
A question and an opinion:
Why is it so important to find a way to get a hollow core on the Secret Keeper?
The reason I ask is, on a piece that’s going to be fairly expensive anyway, in my opinion, even if you were to cut the shipping in half, I don’t see that it’s going to make such a big difference overall anyway… What I mean is, for such a big and beautiful piece, I would expect the shipping to be expensive and it wouldn’t stop me from buying it. When I save for this one, I will just have to save a little more to cover the extra shipping.
And seeing as you have sold 15 so far on ebay without any problem, I doubt I’m the only one who feels that way?
Not bad in my opinion… It was a clean break and only about half the horn missing. I suspect it could be repaired fairly easily.

$45 buy it now peacock emperor.
It did have a broken horn, but still… Even the damaged ones never sell for that little!
vantid wrote:Ah Frozen, that;s such a locely pic. I hope we get around to making a sitting spectral in white so you can add to it..
Hey! It wasn’t one of US who said it, it was a Windstone Staff person! WOO HOO!

I purchased Enchantment’s white lap and it was so gold I would call it a gold pearl. She said that it was one of the newer pieces made before retirement – so you probably have one the later pieces as well. The only ones I have seen are either really white or really gold, only the pieces that seem to be in-between are the OW, Rising Spectral, etc. that can be purchased from the factory directly.
Good to know! I was just really curious. And I think I would call my fledgling a gold pearl as well.

Yes GB- but in the GRAND SCHEME OF THINGS (think cosmic)…it’s really quite a small world.

I loved that movie! Robin Williams is soo great!
Welcome! How do you pronounce that name?
An emerald-peacock prototype! And as a gift! Wow that is great! If it was from your husband, he’s a keeper 😆
I don’t know if you’ve been reading for a while, but if not, you’ll be happy to know that Melody will be releasing a fledgling in the old green color, I believe as a BIN on ebay, so keep your eyes open because they will go fast!
I saw it and thought about buying it for someone here, but before I made up my mind, it was sold. I wonder if the buyer is one of us?
I know! It didn’t last long, but for a while there were 31 of us online! Then most of the visitors got scared away by the sheer volume of posts to read 😆
I gave everyone books and got books from almost everyone! We’re a family of big readers! Even my step-mother who only joined the family about 15 years ago 😀
In my opinion, his best features are the wings. I’m afraid I’m not crazy about the body though. I do prefer natural colors on the wolves however so that might taint my opinion, but I don’t mind crazy colors on the wings.

Yeah, prolly ruins any possible resale value, but I’ve always thought of the hangtag removal as the final step in making them mine, in an odd way letting them know (yes, I know they’re not real, I’m odd, ok? -g-) they’re here forever.
I wouldn’t go that far… I’m fairly indifferent to them myself, like many others, I just set the dragons on top of them. It won’t stop me buying a piece but I won’t pull the ones I have either.
