How about a round of applause for John–the man behind Melody! The one who takes care of all the legal, administrative end of the business. From what I understand it was his idea for a forum and look where we’re at now! I’m new here so may not know all that he does, but I can still appreciate him! 😀

Well, now we know why the website went down–poor Snap had a mishap with something blowing up when he tried to plug something in (yeah I know, real technical here–he explains it better on the ‘Happy Thoughts’ forum). Could have been very serious for him but he is all right. I thought my computer was dumping on me–gave me an anxiety attack for a moment though! 😮
Yes, thank you for all you do–the raffles, the donations to charitable causes, wanting to know our opinions and the list goes on! We can be off the wall but aren’t crazy people the best–even God loves crazy people, they’re the only ones he can trust! So thank you for your patience in listening to our squeaks and our pissing and moaning! 😀
I’m glad to see it here! People are having a hard time in more ways than one, it’s time to count the blessings we do have! So let’s hear all those things in our life that make us happy and what we are happy about. 😀 😀
Yeah, I don’t know if this happened to anyone else, but I lost Windstone website. Was pulling my hair out because I thought they were updating and I was missing it. Couldn’t get the website back up and kept getting that ‘oops link broken’ message.

Congradulation on the new pc! Sounds like your old one has a mind of its own! 😮 I’ve heard Macs are great especially when it comes to grahpics! Good that they are transferring your files over as well. To me, that would be the biggest headache–all the stuff you have on your old hard drive and getting all of it into your new one.

Goes to show what is old is new again! I remember the series in the very early 70s–was on at 3pm weekdays. It was like a dark soap opera of sorts. Loved Barnabas Collins and will be very interesed in how Johnny Depp carries this character out. 🙂
You are the reason that I found Windstone and this forum. The interest in a print of a Firebird that was in your ‘dark and scary’ files lead me here. I like cool colors–especially if they’re rich looking. Blues, purples, greens–like the ocean, deep green of a forest, a midnight blue sky but with a touch of a bright color–magenta, gold, silver, red. Then I also like soft colors–I have a Pink Lap and I love her–also lavendars, lighter blues, peach type colors–the salmon color on the laps on ebay I like–almost like Easter egg colors. If it looks good, I like it! 😀
I have that cat leaf scone and I think it’s beautiful. Yeah, dragons in that color would be awesome!

I know what you mean! This is my first time in this swap and so far, things are looking so-so. Not the best paint job but I could do worse. On the final seal I have Liquitex Gloss Medium & Varnish and I tell you it really pops those colors right out! Did a MUSE and it was all right but after putting on this medium, it look so much better! Also with the final coat, I mix some Pearl Ex powder in it and it gives it that irridecent glow. I find it’s the best cover up for a mericore paint job! 😀
