For something in that spot, I would paint over it. Now the tricky part will be to match the color!
Is acrylic paint safe to use? Should I attempt to seal it with anything after?
All of the pewter-horn dragons have been postponed production until the horn problems were solved. I expect they will be back eventually.
Ah, I know about the horn problem. 🙂 I was meaning poads. There are some that are in the postponed production section.
Welcome back! 😀
I hope she’s doing well – sounds like it from all of the updates. 🙂
I interned at a veterinary ophthalmologist last summer and saw many amazing things. Animals are really quite amazing when it comes to loss of eyesight and their eyes. If the eye was causing them pain (I saw a lot of glaucoma out there), it really makes such a difference to have the eye removed – it is truly amazing to see how much better they feel once the pain of intraocular pressure is gone. We actually had one client send us a video of a patient of ours a few weeks later — the dog was playing fetch again after she hadn’t in years.
Congrats on your new addition!
French bulldogs are ADORABLE. I’d love to see pictures. 😀
I collect too many things right now, though I’m trying to cut back. :X
At the moment apart from Windstones I also collect:
– Animal skulls and other natural artifacts
– Medical artifacts (veterinary, from when I was working at a vet tech in practice — I’ve got some things like bladderstones and a tapeworm)
– Fox items
– Elsa dolls and merchandise (from Frozen)
– Some Pokemon stuff (Mostly Fennekin and Sylveon, though I’ve got a mess of figures of my other favorites)
– A mess of dolls (mostly Ever After High and some Monster High, but also a few ball-jointed dolls)
– Jurassic Park dinosaur action figuresHave a lovely trip! 🙂
Oh, Bodine! What a lovely picture. It’s nice to see the greenery again.
It’s still pretty barren here in MA, and there’s still some melting snow on the ground. It got as warm as 40 today though, so that made me happy. We’re supposed to get more snow next week, though. 🙁
I have been SO good in not buying one of these, hrgh! The mini keepers look like they are ready for Easter, though – they’re quite lovely.
I’ll keep an eye up for an announcement for when the limit is lifted – guess I’d need to decide by then if I really want one or not. 🙂
Famous last words, indeed!
My intention was only dragons, but I’m definitely addicted to poads now, too. I am really going to TRY hard to limit myself ONLY to poads and dragons, but as I say that I am staring at my two flap cats and two griffins…sigh. 😉
I’m really hopeful there will be more grab bags in the future, but there is a young poad that keeps tempting me in the forum classifieds, augh!
Any idea if any of the old post-posted production ones will be back? I missed as to why they were put on hold.
Windstone Wishlist:
– Fire red lab dragon
– Silver lap dragon
– Fire red scratcher
– Pebble foxes
– MORE POADS! (Any I don’t have already, but especially a silver bengal.)Congrats! This is WONDERFUL news! 😀 I’m a junior this year, so I should hopefully have mine completed next year. 🙂
Out of curiosity, how quickly do these sell out? I’ve never participated in grab bags since I’m still relatively new here.
Those kirins are STUNNING – I love the koi pattern details.
I’ve had some new arrivals over the past few weeks, but have just been too busy to post them – midterms are still going on, but the break is in one week!
Two flap cats flew in and made themselves at home…
Along with a mother griffin and her chick.
A fennec pebble also made her way to my shelves (she’s the center piece amongst many other fox things I own).
And lastly (aside from some poads), a rainbow scratcher perched near the cats. I never thought I’d be able to adopt a rainbow dragon, let alone a scratcher. I often find myself admiring her since she sits across from my bed.
And then there were poads. I received two as gifts, so my poad family grew a lot more quickly than I had originally expected.
The friend who sent me my second adult poad requested for a drawing of a poad butt in my box. Much to our surprise, Melody actually drew one! (Poad butts are just something we are amused by.)
