My sister lives in Colorado…they were buried in snow, for sure! She sent me a hilarious pic of what someone did with it…too bad it’s not PG-13, or I’d post it on the forum. XD
Feel free, Kaytana! =D Tomorrow is the last day for people to suggest a different theme, so after that I’m going to make it “Monochrome Fantasy”. Sooo…anything fantasy-related, but in monochrome. If you do more than one card, each one can use different color, though. =)
Working in monochrome is a good artistic exercise, anyways. =9

Anyhow, I won’t say what I asked, but the interested party found it quite reasonable, apparently. I’ll have to time myself this time, though.

I’m in! Hmm.. theme idea (I’m sort of confused by fantasy age, since most things we consider fantasy are ageless!) … What about a color theme? That could be fun! 😀 pick one or two colors that’re to be the main color theme… ooooorrr… we could do a season theme?? Wintry? dragons frolicing in the snow, could be uber cute to celebrate the season we’re in! oooorrr… Spring! The one I’m sure many are looking forward to! 😀 *Said as I’m shivering from being cold right now, lol*

Fantasy age was just kind of supposed to be an ‘open’ fantasy theme. So pretty much anything ‘fantasy’ related would do. XD But if we want to narrow it down, we could say ‘Blue Fantasy’ or ‘Red Fantasy’…and then everyone would have to work in that color? o.o OR everyone could just pick a color themselves, and work only in that, and we could call the theme ‘Monochrome’? Well, if anyone else pipes up with an idea for themes, I’ll make a poll and we can vote. 6.6

Sadly, I never bothered to time how long one of these took me. XD I’ll just have to make a guess, and if I’m wrong, live and learn. e.e Thank you for your input, everyone. <3
And it's not all brushwork, just the head and the scales on the tail. I'm not that awesome with an airbrush. =( Baww. Kinda sad, because I DO have an airbrush that could do detail like that…if I wasn't so BAD at controlling it! But I like the transparent look building up the layers with a brush gives, anyhow. n_n
meh, I can’t edit my post…but I just wanted to say, I would also consider trading mine for an orange-eyed Emerald Young dragon, depending on its condition. =)
I’m glad you guys like them. n_n The top one (version 2 – I added green interference to match the wings) was for Kyrin, the bottom (version 1) was for ruffian, as I recall. I also repainted a mother kirin in this color scheme, but obviously can’t show her off here. =9
I wasn’t sure how up-to-date the Commission Pricing thread was, but now it occurs to me that it has to be, since we fairly recently switched to the new forum. XD That was very helpful, thanks.
Ah, and I don’t advertise as ‘taking commissions’, I just (usually) don’t refuse when asked. =)
I’m putting mine up for trade until this coming Sunday (to give everyone time to get theirs). He’s only for trade for something I like better, and I won’t make a decision until Sunday, so if you can’t wait that long…best not to offer. e.e I know how it sucks to think you will miss out on all the ‘good’ trades because you haven’t gotten yours yet.
He’s a multicolored pintaloosa, with brown eyes and a green jewel. Sparkly paint, of course. His color is a little washed out (but not too bad) in the picture under incandescent lighting. The pictures in the sun are just to catch the sparkle. =)
