I swear I’ve looked at this thread more than any other since you said you got our cards, I’m so hot to see them. XD Even though I think mine will look stupid on the computer. e.e; I liked them irl – enough to contemplate making big versions, but scanned in, idk…I will probably be horrified. o_o… Grah. *goes to bed*
Why… is the male gryphon being called female?
I’m guessing because the author wanted that sculpt used, but her griffin character is female? It doesn’t really bother me…after all, if Melody hadn’t said, “This one is female, that one is male…” when she first made them, they could have been either – it’s not like they have any visible genitalia. 3.3;
I LIKE the Albino kirin. XD I can’t decide if I want to go for that, or the griffin with the book. What’s up with that, btw? How’d that collaboration come about? Did I miss a thread about that somewhere? o_o I like the cover on the book, too. Pretty. <3
As for those blue kirins, the female looked better to me than the male, I think because her fur was whiter. Mostly, I just don't like that light blue color. On anything.

I agree. When I buy Windstones on eBay, if the listing does not say “with original box” I assume it’s not there. If it arrives and it’s in the original box -bonus- but I didn’t EXPECT it to be.

I like the newer version better . Less patina and more blended and the teal eyes.
Uh, I think she’s just squeaking for some of the sculpts that’ve only come out with the teal eyes, in the new version, to ALSO be put out with red eyes – and since the red eyes would not look good on the ‘newer version’ of CP, obviously we’d want a bit of a reversion back to the way it was before…when the red eyes DID look good (even if not to you). We’re not saying ‘don’t ever use teal eyes again, we only want red!’ Just ‘if possible, make some the way WE like it, as well’.
I like having the tags, but could care less if they were bent. The only thing they do is add ‘authenticity’ to me. Their condition means nothing…to me, if it’s there, great. If it’s a little roughed-up or bent…big deal! I’m just going to tuck it under the thing anyways. It’s not like a Beanie Baby, where there’s no hiding it, or the piece is completely devalued without it! The box, however, holds no value in my eyes, other than as a way to safely ship or move a Windstone, assuming it is one of the form-fitted boxes (NOT a curl box). So to me, even $20 is too much. However, I also would have mentioned the tag being bent if I was selling something as mint, just because I do realize a lot of people are super-anal about that…so…$10, max. Nothing for the box. That can totally be faked, so what’s the point? All you need is a small white box and a printed out sticker!
