The antique road show; year 2100: “Ahh yes!You have the rare, Freaky-Eyed Spectral…a first edition… very rare!”
Hehehehehe!! Love it! I missed out on those Freaky-Eyed Spectrals but I have Red Flame, Violet Flame I and Violet Flame II Curls…hehehehe! Some of us actually like the OOOPSS’s. I know I do.
Tell Your Staff…I am sure I will love my Dark Beaked Black Griffin!!!!!
$1125 because my last bid was $1100…I admit I am crazy tooo….

Why always the Old Warrior? When you come out with special colors (Autumn Leaf, Copper Mauve, Silver, Flame, etc) they are always on the Old Warrior. Why do you use him all the time for special colors? Why not a Male or Scratcher? Is it just because you have the special Prototype? Or is it for another reason? Or is he just your favorite? 😉
(I love the OW. Too bad I can never afford him! :p)Thanks :3
I can give you a reason why I think he is always used, besides the fact that they had prototypes….
He is, in my opinion, the archetypal, quintessential DRAGON ! He looks more like a real dragon than any other. He is BIG, Rough, Poised and seems to say…Screw with my horde and I will eat you!
I have 7 Old Warriors and to me they say so much. I am obviously in love with the sculpture. But when I think of Smaugh or one of the Pern Dragons (especially the older Bronze Males), he immediately fits the bill.
I wonder if this is Melody’s Favorite Dragon…but it is certainly mine 🙂
Great price, I saw them and almost snapped them up…you did good!

The Momma Copper Gold Coiled want for $1125.00
The person who bought her lives in the UK and he/she must be a Windstone nut like the rest of us.

She’s paying half what we would pay, basically.
Maybe that is why….she sure bought a bunch and probably would fit in with us great!!!!
Sounds like the dark tipped beak will be rare…I’m gonna keep mine. It’s different anyway….and I don’t think it’s ugly.

A whole lot of us have very lonely males just dying for a female 🙂
She/He also bought up a bunch of IVEP Pieces and sometimes more than one of each for some pretty steep prices.
So either they have a lot of disposable income, they are speculators or they are more seriously addicted than the rest of us….
It must cost a bundle to have all these crazily priced items shipped to the UK, with taxes, import fees, etc……
I will just hope another pretty Copper Gold Coiled momma comes up…
I quit! She has the price well over $1000 so I am out…and she’s got the Secret Keeper wrapped up as well.
Got Mine!!! My Male has been waiting for a long, long time….he will be sooo happy!!!

It’s that darn Rumsey person…she keeps uping the bid….if it gets any higher she can have her…..she out bid me on the green coiled momma and paid $455 and then I ended up getting the other one for like $350 or so……
So if she outbids me this time she can have that and the SK…..and I’ll get a cheaper one latter…I wasn’t gonna say anything…but I am aggravated with ebay right now….and I really, really wanted her….
